Pete Doherty Goes Shopping
Pete Doherty recently got in trouble for walking out of a designer store without paying for his shopping. The Babyshambles frontman reportedly picked out a coat, a watch and two scarves at a Burberry store in Austria and then strolled out without paying for the scarves. Shop workers called the police to apprehend Pete, who when confronted about his actions told officers he had simply “forgot” to pay. An assistant explained:
“I called the police when he left the shop. They chased him to the gate and found the scarves on him, he told them he ‘forgot’ to pay and handed over the €250 in crumpled €5 notes.”
Pete is my spiritual leader and my role model. There’s a lot to learn from him. Today I learned how to steal innocently. I love you, Pete.
