Michael Douglas Sets the Record Straight

Last month, GQ magazine quoted Michael Douglas as saying, “leaving that beautiful woman (Jennifer Aniston) to go hold orphans for Angelina. I mean how long is that going to last?” The actor, who is also a celebrity ambassador for the United Nations like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, shocked everyone with this comment. Everyone except me. I thought it was pretty funny. Whatever, Douglas now claims he never said that.

“I didn’t say it,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I spent a number of hours in that interview, a lot of it on tape and when I asked the reporter … to play back the tape for me, I was told the tape was turned off, and it was something that was written down, and I just don’t buy that.”

If he didn’t say that, why the hell did he send an apology to Brad and Angelina? Michael is so humble. I respect him like Buddha.
