Mischa Barton is Dead
‘THE OC’ SPOILER ALERT! The third season of ‘The OC’ ended with a deadly twist. Marissa Cooper, played by Mischa Barton, died in a car crash. It was not a big surprise for the fans because she revealed her character would die in the season’s final episode before it even aired. The actress sat down for an interview with ‘Access Hollywood’ which aired hours before the show’s final episode last night.
When asked about rumors and reports that Barton’s character dies on tomorrow’s season finale of “The O.C.,” Barton told “Access Hollywood,” “It’s true, it’s true. My character dies.” The 20-year-old actress added, “I think the show is moving in a new direction. This was a great opportunity for everyone. I was just really excited about giving everybody a good finale. You know, they needed a big season finale at the end of this year and we’ve had three great years and my character has been through so, so much and there’s really nothing more left for her to do. So I hope this fulfills everything that the fans want and everything that the people wanted for our characters.”
I don’t watch ‘The OC’ so I couldn’t care less. But if one of the actors of ‘Lost’ spills the beans like Mischa did, I swear I’ll cut his throat. Because I’m a pirate and I hate spoilers. Arrr!

Thats a real shame if they killed of her character, cos she looked hot on “The O.C” but I guess they will just draft in some other pretty little twentysomething for next season, hopefully this one can act, even when she was pretending to be dead it looked lame!!

Well i think killing her charecter on the o.c was the worst thing that they could have done … Now the show is getting cut all because it isn’t as hot as before …. now one of the best shows of all time is getting cut just because a directer decided to kill the charecter of marissa Cooper (mischa Barton) ……… So think about that !

um just so you know I am obsessed with the o.c and it was very wrong for you to put you dont care cos a lot of us do that just shows how your taste of shows suck, cos the o.c was the best show ever!!!!

hey im sam and im a fan of the o.c and when I watched the part where marissa cooper died! I couldnt belive it like i didnt want her to she was one the the man charaters and i was hopping that her ad ryan would hook back up but i guess its alittle late now and poor summer her bff! she was like a role moddle to me she kidda remminded me of myself actualy cause i ave went throught rough time just like that and i just didnt like it that much when she died but i guess i cant control that and i was wondering was it becuase marissa want to quit her job or becuase the director wanted her to die?
