   Life is a continuum and none of us stays in a single, perfect incarnation indefinitely. The point is that Ms. Alley did make a remarkable transformation after years of being very overweight. If she bumps up a few pounds again, she’s still gone through the process, had some success and has the tools to lose more weight again as she feels motivated to. I don’t understand all the haters. Despite all the tabloid press, I’ve seen nothing to indicate she’s a bad person or has ever acted in a mean-spirited way.

   It’s more a weird lack of tone and shape-size wise she doesn’t look any bigger. Odd how in all of that her arms looks somehow toned. I did think it was brave for her to claim and use her obesity for comedy in such an extreme anorexic thinking skinny worshipping culture like America.

   Honestly though does it seem to anyone else that she didn’t really lose all that much weight on Jenny Craig she just dressed differently?

   I have to say though that she’s really an example of how being fat really forces you to get tough and ballsy and funny-remember her Rebekah persona?

    Why are people so mean? This women is a human being. She is trying to do her best and it shows just how hard it is to overcome being over weight. It is not something anyone wants to be. Life sometimes gets in the way, things happen people die, people loose jobs, get divorced. Metabolisiam of each individual. Just because she is in the spotlight it should not cause her to get such critisiam she is only trying to help people like herself and those are the people that make the difference to. Until you have been there and understand her reasoning for being where she is stop this meaness. She is a good person as far as I have heard from people here in Wichita. I do not understand such attitudes can we all just like people for who they are and leave it at that.     Ya know, it never ceases to amaze me how people obsess over weight. You have the Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie type who starve themselves or drug binge making them anorexic. Then you have some actresses who might get a little thick later in life. And the public is merciless to both types! Personally, I think Kirstie Alley is still hot. She is 55 years old, people.. I’d like to see the haters here when they reach that age, cuz I guarantee you they won’t look that good.. oh and noone will care because YOUR NOBODY. Kirstie is in the spotlight, so they take potshots at her for not having the body of 19 year old. They did the same to Stevie Nicks. She got a little thick, and people rode her up and down about it. Personally, I think those women are still as hot as they come, and would love to have to chance to be with either of them.

    losing weight is hard, and it can’t be easy with people on the internet and television and magazines putting you down, and watching your every move. I enjoy seeing her in any thing on tv overweight or thin, because I see through that to the person with in. only shallow people who don’t care about the feelings of others point out other’s short commings. magazines, internet, and tv shows that put her down are only out for sensation.
