If catching your grandmother boinking the super last week just wasn’t enough geriatric action for you, well, you’re in luck. It looks like the feature film version of “Sex in the City” is back in business and heading for the big screen. The Post-Chronicle reports:

OK! Magazine reported Thursday, attributing the information to “a studio insider,” that the [Sex and the City] movie is a go and will feature the popular HBO series’ original four stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon. The magazine said the project has been fraught with rumors and innuendo, and word was that the movie would never get off the ground until the quartet figured out their schedules and intentions.

I suppose “figuring out their schedules and intentions” translated into “realizing their roles as slutty post-menopausal whores would never be reprised ever, ever again, because everybody knows old people doing it is gross.” I suppose they could play the jilted lover of a husband having an affair with a much younger and more attractive woman, or the pose as the portrait version of a female Dorian Gray-type character, or maybe play the living undead in a horror movie. Sarah Jessica has more options than any of them, though, because she can take both human and equine roles. Like the role of Seabiscuit if they if they ever decided to make a sequel. The rest of those old slags have pretty limited options without this movie.
