Lindsay Lohan is a Cutter
The arm in the above photograph belongs to one Lindsay Lohan, the perma-bandaged actress with the notoriously “accident-prone” reputation. According to today’s The Sun, the scarring in the photograph is indicative of several months of abuse, not a singular “fall in some bushes” as her people are claiming. The Sun reports:
Expert Jan Sutton, who has written two books on self harm, said… : “The photographs have all the telltale signs. The arms are the most common place for self injury. Some of the scars are fresh and just above those there are a number of injuries which look older. They are called keloid scars and are just beginning to disappear. It would be difficult to argue this is an accident as there are just too many scars.”
I searched the Yeeeah! archives for pictures of Lindsay just to see if she actually had been hiding her forearms lately, and I was stunned to realize that almost every picture of I pulled up of her from the last half year or so includes a bandage or wrist warmers or fingerless gloves or an armload of bracelets. Nary a bare wrist in sight. All this time I had assumed she was just a douche who believed she was setting fashion trends, not that she was hurting herself or something morbid like that. I mean, “Herbie: Fully Loaded” really sucked, as did her “album,” and she has freckles and corn kernel teeth and probably a smattering of STD’s, but it can’t be so bad that she’d start cutting herself. Can it?
Okay, yeah, it could. To be honest, I would have probably O.D.’d on painkillers ten years prior on account of that hideous freckling alone. There’s a reason why God makes you ugly, and it’s because it’s his will that you repulse the population at large and die a virgin, consequently removing your inferior genes from the collective pool. Preventative measures and such. I know it’s true because my grandfather told me so. He also told me you could never trust a man with a beard (they have something to hide), a pipe smoker (they think too much), or a red head (the whole “ugly” bit). And he said black people could run faster than white people because they had an extra bone in their foot. I AM NOT MAKING ANY OF THIS UP. He was pretty much a genius.

Coward. If she REALLY wants to commit suicide, then she needs to cut her wrists parallel, not perpendicular to her arm. If you cut across your wrists, your veins automatically contract to stop the blood flow. But if you cut them lengthwise, it defeats that mechanism.

When I was in (Marine Corps) bootcamp, a recruit tried to ‘cut’ himself in a failed suicide attempt. The next day, our Drill Instructor was ranting and raving up and down the barracks about if your going to kill youself that way, go south to north, not east to west. Then he called us bunch of idiots.

The poor girl obviously has problems, and I have decided that we all proablly a main cause of it. The constant hounding of paparazzi by the companies we support with our viewership I think is what is mainly to blame with her struggles. She can’t make a wrong step without being judged by the whole world.

Cutting isn’t about killing yourself. People who have no idea shouldn’t assume shit. I’m 21, I cut and have been in recovery these past 2 months and we shall see how it goes. It’s about pain, about dealing with emotions, feelings, it’s about a lot of things. It can be hard to explain. It can be different for everyone. I just think people should leave her alone!!! Personally, I think Lindsay DOES need a great deal of help. However, her vulnerability at the moment does not give you ignorant losers the right to bash her. If she is in fact cutting herself, or engaging in other forms of destructive behavior (i.e. eating disorders, etc.), people (especiialy the papparazi), need to let her be…Clearly, she is carrying a lot of weight on her shoulders, certainly with her family life, and negative attention from the media isn’t helping. Imagine having grown up at such a rapid pace; she lost her childhood, just as Britney Spears did. There’s nothing comical about poking fun at other people’s emotional dilemmas. I should know, as I have them myself.
By the way, “cutters” aren’t emo. It really infuriates me how people can use that term so loosely. “Emo” is a genre of music, geniuses. Oh, and yes, I have cut myself. It’s completely irrelevant to suicide…it’s a coping mechanism. Do your research, kids.

seems to me to be a typical borderline personality. those cuts are not accidental, bandages and hiding the places were there has been self mutilation is typical for self harmers. she has a history of anorexia, and substance abuse problems. these seem to be how she copes with what is actually going on. I think lindsay needs to find a therapist that can really help her. She seems and looks depressed in the pictures that i have seen above and people that are happy and do not have problems do not do the things that she has done or what she is doing.
I think lindsay is a good actress but i think she needs to work on her self before continueing her career.

I feel so sorry for her, she obviously can’t handle the pressure of being famous. I used to like her and bought all her movies, but the way she’s acting now she’s just making a fool of herself.
Once i’ve written about Lindsay:”If i look at her i see a girl hating what’s she’s doing, but doesn’t know how to get out”. A few weeks later i read that she had said almost exactly the same words. If i was her i would stop what i’m doing, take a very long holiday, find a nice and loving man, and settle down somewhere. The way things are going now, she’s only going down, and she’s to valuable for that.
The live she has chosen is now killing her. Why did she lower herself to the level of the other celebs? She could have achieved something good for the whole society by herself, but now she’s destroying her own life and the life of stupid fans following her by promoting a destructive lifestyle. She’s knows it, and she’s trapped. She needs some good help to get her out. Even the stories of a protective environment, something every clinic should be, are published everywhere. This is not a good clinic, but a lousy one!
