Personal stylist and meth dealer to the stars Rachel Zoe was reportedly fired by Nicole Richie over “issues of trust” yesterday. The Post-Chronicle divulged:

The 25-year-old co-star of “The Simple Life” has ended Rachel Zoe’s 2-year tenure as her personal stylist… “Nicole didn’t trust Rachel anymore,” said a friend of Richie’s… “Zoe didn’t take the news well.” A representative for the stylist, whose fashion efforts have focused on size-zero actresses Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan, has claimed that the split of the former confidantes was amicable.

I guess if you quit doing meth, you kinda have to “break up” with your dealer. With Nicole turning over a new healthy leaf, it makes sense. Or it could have been that the forcefield of ugliness around Rachel Zoe was so powerful that Nicole felt she had to escape to salvage what little prettiness she had left. I mean, Rachel Zoe is like one of those leathery indigenous types you see in National Geographic, topless and missing teeth, suffering from years of an obvious lack of western medicine and the punishing effects of constant sun exposure. I’m pretty sure I saw her dancing around like a banshee on the prehistoric island where King Kong lived. Just unholy. So that makes sense, too — you never really need a reason to bail on “ugly.”
