Britney Likes Her Pills
Britney Spears’ unabashed panty-less partying might have been fueled by the cache of prescription medicine she’s been toting around in her purse. The Post-Chronicle reports:
On November 27 Britney dined at Dan Tana’s restaurant… and during a visit to the powder room a fellow diner caught a glimpse inside her handbag. The source told In Touch Weekly magazine: “It looked like a pharmacy in there - I have never seen so many pills. There was a bottle of Paxil.. and a bottle of Xanax… that she took out and put on the counter.”
Well, now all that beavering around town with Paris Hilton makes sense. It was the pills. Maybe we should cut Brit-Brit a break. I mean, to be fair, the last time I chased a couple of Xanax with some OxyContin, I woke up in New Haven without panties, just like Britney. Strangely, though, it seems I had remembered to put on a feather boa and camouflage face paint. Just not underpants. Also, when I came to it was a Tuesday, and I’m pretty sure that I left my house on a Friday. And I had a car when I left. All I have now is a rusted-out ten-speed.
