Miss Nevada Also a Whore
The Miss USA pageant just keeps reaffirming its place as the metaphorical “bar” for upstanding women in America today. Fresh on the heels of Miss USA Tara Connor’s almost-dethroning, Miss Nevada USA 2007, Katie Rees, lost her halo crown yesterday after pictures of her flashing her tits and slutting it up with several women surfaced on the internet. TMZ reports:
In a statement, Paula M. Shugart, President of the Miss Universe Organization, said “Katie Rees has been relieved of her duties as Miss Nevada USA 2007. First Runner-up Helen Salas will assume the title and compete at the 2007 MISS USA Pageant on March 23 in Los Angeles.” Pageant spokeswoman Lark-Marie Anton… added that these types of decisions are made all the time, they are just more high-profile now, in light of the current scandal involving Miss USA Tara Conner.
This kind of stuff happens all the time? Seriously?! Okay, to be fair, I guess a lot of us have sexy “baggage.” Really, if I had a nickel for every picture of a chick tongue-kissing my crotch, I’d be… no, wait — no, I’d be poor. There aren’t any pictures out there of a woman eating me out. In most of the slutty pictures I’ve taken, my crotch is accompanied by two or three men, maybe a goat, a pair of pliers and flashlight, and the occasional midget. I know, I know — I’ve got “Miss Tennessee USA 2008″ written all over me.
