Former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith, 39, died yesterday after collapsing in her Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino hotel room. TMZ reports:

Cops say Smith’s private nurse called a hotel operator at 1:38 PM EST. Before paramedics arrived on scene, Smith’s bodyguard performed CPR. One of the first paramedics to arrive claimed that she was dead when he got there. Smith was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. An autopsy is scheduled for [this morning].

Additionally, Access Hollywood reveals:

According to a credible source, an employee of Anna Nicole Smith found her in her room. The employee pulled back a sheet and discovered that she appeared to have choked on her own vomit. The same source claims that Smith took what was referred to as a “children’s sedative,” and had “kept passing out” before her death.

Entertainment Tonight adds:

Anna Nicole was suffering from flu-like symptoms upon her arrival [at the Hard Rock hotel] on Monday, but her fever had broken by Wednesday. That afternoon, she fell in the bathroom and hit her head. She said she was feeling fine, had a meal and went back to bed.

And finally, according to the CBS affiliate in Hollywood, Florida:

Sources tell CBS 2′s Scott Weinberger that investigators found illegal narcotics as well as prescription medications in Anna Nicole’s Florida hotel room. Sources also tell CBS 2 that investigators removed eight bags of evidence from her hotel room.

There’s not much snarky to say when somebody dies, unless they die hilariously, like a parachute not opening or in a gasoline fire. So I’m not going to say anything. At all. I might think something horrible in my head, but I’m not going to be writing it down. Okay… I might write it on the 7-11 bathroom wall. But definitely not here. I’m a classy broad. Why else would I be wearing a top hat and a fur coat? Besides it being Friday, I mean? Class, baby. I’ve got it coming out the old wazoo.
