Jennifer Hudson is a Diva
There must be an unwritten rule that states that “American Idol” runner-ups adopt a diva complex, because Jennifer Hudson managed to diva herself right out of a performance this week. TMZ reports:
Hudson was slated to perform yesterday at the Starbucks annual shareholders meeting in Seattle. But then the demands started. Among them — five town cars for herself, hair and makeup artists, [humidifiers], security and her assistant. But the final straw came when Hudson’s agent notified Starbucks [that] Hudson would need baked CHICKEN WINGS at 10:00 AM. At that point, Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz pulled the plug because he didn’t like the way the agent was dealing with his people.
I’d like to remind you that a just a couple of year ago, Jennifer Hudson was flipping burgers at a fast food restaurant. You’d think that some one with such humble beginnings would be less inclined to make such ridiculous demands for herself. Or at least ask for some fries with those wings. I know she won an Oscar and everything, but somehow I don’t imagine playing “an overweight black singer” was that much of a stretch for Ms. Hudson. If she played a convincing “Nazi spy” or a “blind shaman that lived in the desert,” then maybe I’d agree that she deserved and Academy Award. But not for “Dreamgirls.” That’s like me getting an Oscar for playing “a drop-dead gorgeous siren with a heart of gold and an ass that just won’t quit.” It’s just a little redundant, don’t you think?

She went on record as saying that all of these accusations are false. She is a grounded young lady and said her mother would kick her butt if she tried to “go all hollywood”. This is just another case of sensational journalism to try and make a successful young black woman out to be a bad person. Look at Paris, Nicole and Lindsey… they had to be the subjects of bad publicity, because they have no talent and are bimbos, they need something to get them recognized. Jennifer doesn’t need that… hell she has an OSCAR not to mention several other much deserved awards. When I think of talented performers not recognize because they don’t generate negative press, the majority of them are black. Either you have a flat bottom, love handles, and big breast, thin lips and long stringy hair. What a combination. I must add that the sound of the “spirit of jealousy” is in the air so thick that my sweat glands are filled with strong resentment towards the ugly comments against Ms. Jennifer Hudson.
She is beautiful and extremely talented; she was all of that before ever entering American Idol competitions. Almighty God has been kind enough to allow her the opportunity to demonstrate her talents on a national level.
Notice that she is making it and we are not! She is not setting around talking others down. She is not worrying about what you or I are eating at 10A. M.
One of the biggest problems with too many people is that they are so jealous of others and it shows in their negative speaches about the other persons success. If you are not a “HATER” you should not have any thing demeaning to say.
If I do not care for a particular persons talent or style, so what? Some one does. Many of the comments made in these blogs are very unprofessional, uneducatively driven, untasteful and awefully worded.
In the movie “Dreamgirls” that young woman had us in tears she sings so wonderfully. No need to be jealous but it is understood that many of us should envy her incredible opportunity but do not get mad with her, rather, be mad with the Lord; he gave her the power to get wealth with her voice.
Finally, I pray that Ms. Jennifer Hudson soars to the top of the charts for the next ten years and after that continues to received the greatest motion picture parts and that every thing she sets out to do will turn up in good success.
She does not need to be “Big-Headed” because, Ms. Jennifer Hudson has got it and so much more besideds.

But, I have to comment because I love chicken myself (I don’t eat beef at all), and if I’m hungry at 10am, and that’s the quickest thing I can grab from my refrigerator I’ll eat it too. Jennifer deserves and oscar for best vocal performance in a feature film, not best supporting actress. Everybody sucked in that movie except Anika Rose and Eddie Murphy. So sorry to tell you, but they needed to give it to someone black that year and she was just in the right place at the right time. you ask why they didn’t give it to Beyonce? well that’s because it looks better on Jen, rags to riches, its the perfect story. It would not have looked so bad had she acknowledge all the black women who went before her who should have gotten Oscars but didn’t because they were black like Angela Basset or Ruby Dee, hell even Oprah!
