I was looking at this still of Fergie last night from her new music video “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and I realized there was something eerily familiar about her face. I felt like I’d seen it somewhere before, on somebody different. Like, maybe with a different hairstyle or skin color or something. Weird. No matter how I thought about it, though, I couldn’t quite place it, so I went ahead with my evening routine of bong hits and “Law and Order” reruns and decided to just let it go. And then the answer revealed itself — much like Newton and his apple — via the television:
Slap a beard on old Fergalicious up there and you’re looking at the cavemen from the Geico commercials! Sure, the Caveman’s features are a little more refined and his forehead not quite as simian, but the resemblance is still uncanny. When the insurance gig dries up, he can always make a little dough as a Fergie impersonator.
