Paris Hilton’s Therapist Speaks Out
Paris Hilton’s psychiatrist told the L.A. Superior Court Monday that the heiress is too “distraught and traumatized” to testify in her own defense in the slander and libel suit brought against her by Zeta Graff. People Magazine reports:
Dr. Charles Sophy argues that “given (Hilton’s) current psychological, and emotional state … (she’s) not capable of any meaningful participation in a trial.” Sophy says Hilton, 26, needs to recover from the outcome of the jail sentence [for violating her probation for driving with a suspended license]. Dr. Sophy has been treating Hilton for the past eight months, and met with her several times since her probation violation hearing. “She is emotionally distraught and traumatized as a consequence of the findings at the May 4 hearing, the jail sentence imposed upon her by the judge, and her fear of incarceration.”
Besides the healing hand of prescription drugs, Paris has also been reaching for Jesus in her time of need. She was photographed leaving a Beverly Hills church over the weekend with her hands folded in prayer and in a less-whorey-than-usual dress. I couldn’t find the pic where she started foaming at the mouth and rolling on the sanctuary floor, screaming “It burns us! It burns us! Ab aeterno, ab antiquo, ab initio!” and sobbing with blood pouring out of her nose and stuff. I think it that’s just because the paparazzi aren’t allowed to take pictures inside a church building. Too bad, because those pictures would have been fucking awesome!

Geez, her psych must be a medical marvel to have come up with that diagnosis. Who the hell wouldn’t be traumatized and depressed. That’s part of the outcome the public hopes anyone being incarcerated will feel!

and yet she still smiles and puts on the strut for the paps. yeah, she looks traumatized and depressed. her shrink is trying to get her put under medical supervision instead of jail. nice move.
