WWE Star and Family Found Dead
WWE superstar Chris Benoit allegedly murdered his family over the weekend before killing himself. According to London’s The Sun
Wrestling legend Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and son Daniel have been found dead in their home in Atlanta, Georgia in a double murder-suicide say police. Cops believe that Chris murdered Nancy on Saturday, Daniel on Sunday and then committed suicide [yesterday]. Lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope said: “The instruments of death were located on the scene.”
Before they knew the exact details of his death, the WWE put on a three-hour TV tribute to the star canceling all fake storylines because of the very real tragedy. In the Monday Night Raw show superstars such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and announcer Jim Ross said what a great man and father Benoit was.
A great father, sure! He ought to join the hallowed ranks of Lizzie Borden and the Menendez brothers in the “Family Man Hall of Fame.” The real tragedy here is that there’s a child involved, effectively rendering me incapable of such clever burns as “Was there a Canadian Crossface or a European Uppercut involved?” or “I heard the murder weapon found on the scene was an actual Irish Double-Ax Handle. What are the odds?” But as I’m sure you can tell from the preceding post, I have way too much class for that. I’m like Miss Manners, only with a much better rack.

Look. i’ve been reading alot of these comments and I have to say I’m still in shock over this. Chris Benoit was one of my top 5 greatest wrestlers of all time. But if you are a real fan of wrestling then you know that there is a darker, uglier side of it that no one addresses. Wrestlers are 20 times more likely to die before age 45 then professional football players. I love wrestling to death. Been watching it since I was a kid. As I got older I learned that wrestlers pay a terrible price to be in this business. You have to wrestle all year long without time off unless you are seriously injured. So the taking of steroids and other pain meds are required and if you can’t wrestle they cut you. Click on youtube for shoot interviews with wrestlers about steroids and they’ll tell ya. Can you imagine the mental and physical stress the body must go through to survive in this business? Not being able to see your family, your kids growing up. Benoit also had to compensate for his size so he had to work ten times harder then the giants of wrestling. This business consumed him. It’s all he knew. And being an elder statesmen in the wrestling biz it’s just a matter of time before you are put out to pasteur. He probably sensed that his career was winding down. It’s a shame that this has happened. I’m saddened that we lost a great wrestler but I’m also ashamed and disappointed of what Benoit the man did. Nancy and Daniel didn’t deserve that.

Shawn, you hit the nail on the head. I mourn for his wife and child. I grieve for all the children who look up to him as a hero. What do we tell those children? I am saddened that in his final hours he could not find the help he needed but he knew right from wrong and steroids can make you do strange and violent things with long term use. We don’t know all details yet but this sad man thought about these deaths. He took time to act on these intentions. The time he spent texting those messages, he could have picked up that phone and dialed any one of his friends. You heard how well thought of he was by his fellow wrestlers. If any of them knew what agony he was going through, I think at least 2 deaths could have been prevented.

I have a hard time believeing he just killed 2 people I know that chris benoit that I knew and loved was all made up just like the ones in my soap ophras but its just so hard for me to see him as a cold hearted murder, all i know is that it is between him and god now,

look i sont beleive that Chris could have a body of steel and a heart of ice. For somone to love their family they shouldnt kill them. Some people beleive he was framed. I have two beleifs. He could have gotten ROID-RAID from steroids or wrong Rx while drinking alchohol beverages. Or possibly framed. No oine will reveal the truth. The cops are paid to keep the truth away from public. Especially in this case. How do we know to trust the news? We cant always rely on what cops or C.S.I or F.B.I say. We all have heard so many lies and most of us dont know what the truth is anymore. If Chris and family is really dead, then DEAD THE TRUTH LIES WITH HIM!!!!!

How can some of you call yourself TRUE FANS of CHRIS BENOIT, No one knows what truely happened but Chris himself,it could have been any number of things that set the whole chain of events that led up to this. I WILLNOT say it was ROID RAGE, And the steroids found in his home were PRESCRIBED FROM A DOCTOR. Were they to build his muscles or what? WE don’t KNOW!!!! So let him and his family rest in peace. And say we did not know him on a personal level but on a fan level for what and how we seen him every week on the WWE. I am sorry this happened. A true fan will not say all these bad things about him. I will say i am a fan of CHRIS BENOIT and i really don’t care what other people think of it, He will be missed very much. Hey, I dont know if you guys have heard yet…. but according to wikipedia.org someone posted a statement on benoit’s bio about the death of his wife, 14 hours before the police even found the bodies… Wikipedia traced the IP to a connection in Stamford, Connecticut (home of WWE headquarters.)This is just a little to coincidental for my liking… I think someone knows more then they’re telling. =/
Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia where the articles can be updated by just about anyone registered with wikipedia…The person added the statement:
“However, Chris Benoit was replaced by [[Johnny Nitro]] for the ECW Championship match at Vengeance, as Benoit was not there due to personal issues, stemming from the death of his wife Nancy.”
The entry was made on Monday, June 25, at 12:01 a.m., whereas the police didnt fine the bodies until 2:30 p.m that Monday.

The police should look into the mcmanns since the streoroids charges can out when the hulk hogan worked for wwe.This is so wrong about Chris was working on getting his family back together .This is a major lost in wwe ,ecw and this hurts all his friends, fans etc.
