Beowulf Trailer Now Includes Nudity
The international trailer for “Beowulf” just showed up on line, and by “international” I mean “the version with boobies and full frontal Angelina Jolie.” By all measures, infinitely superior to the first one. I actually sent a story board into Paramount myself that had the Queen of Darkness doing a couple of naked pliés and Rockette-style high kicks to AC/DC’s “Shook Me All Night Long” and swinging around a pole, but they never called me back. I guess AC/DC was a little too 21st century for the trailer. One thing the execs and I both seem to agree on, though: nipples are timeless. Like a classic oxford shirt or sateen pirate pantaloons, even if they’re only visible for a total of 0.013 seconds.

You’re welcome, abby. I don’t know what people were expecting. Did anyone really think they’d see Beowulf motorboating on some Grendel’s MILF jugs? Tough crowd.
