Scary Spice Gets Hitched
Reps for Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown have confirmed that she eloped with boyfriend Stephen Belafonte back in June of this year. Us Weekly reports:
Marriage documents show that Spice Girl Brown and movie/tv producer Belafonte were married in Las Vegas on June 6, 2007.
The couple began dating after Brown split from actor Eddie Murphy, who was recently confirmed through DNA testing as the father of her daughter, 5-month-old Angel Iris. Prior to the results, Murphy publicly questioned the baby’s paternity.
I’m not sure why she took such pains to keep the marriage a secret, but I’m sure it has nothing at all to do with that big stink she made over establishing Eddie Murphy as her BabyDaddy. Ever the vigilant mother, Brown is shown here with her new husband poolside in Miami Beach earlier this week, boozing it up and smoking like a chimney. You know what babies like even less than not having a relationship with their birth father? Smoking! Let’s hope that big piece of the “Norbit” pie was all worth it.

Just so you guys know — I held off as long as possible before posting about this boring ass story. But it was either this or those two shitheads from The Hills fighting or Paris saying that Nicole would be “the best mom ever.” So I had to pick a poison and run with it.

She announced Eddie is definately the father, and she and the ex-wife meet in public, she marries this con-guy in secret, all at once she goes on Larry King to tell her boo hoo story., and they all want a pay off from Rich Eddie. Girls’ gonna get beat black and blue and run screaming from this con job. I just hope Mz Mel can protect her baby and daughter from anything horrible that might happen.
