Dog the Bounty Hunter, who up until this point I assumed was some kind of professional wrestler, had production on his A&E reality show halted because of a leaked audio recording of him gratuitously using the word “nigger.” TMZ reports
The Enquirer says they have two tapes of the Dog hurling insults at his son, Tucker, during an undated telephone conversation. It appears as if the Dog is concerned that Tucker’s girlfriend, Monique Shinnery, who is black, will set him up because of the language the Dog uses. In the nearly eight minute long tape posted on the Enquirer’s website, Dog says the N word numerous times and demands that Tucker break up with Monique or he’ll be fired from the family bail bond business.
Dog publicly apologized and subsequently appealed to some “priest to the stars” and Al Sharpton for forgiveness. Yeeeah… I don’t think the Reverend’s blessing is gonna fix this. Dog says the word like four hundred times in the space of eight minutes. You can listen for yourself here, but I wouldn’t recommend doing this at work unless you’re the receptionist for the Ku Klux Klan or a early 1800’s plantation owner. It’s bad enough to say the word once, but repeating it over and over again like that? Yikes. It’s kind of like if you pulled out your wiener in public (bad), only then you slapped like six old ladies with it and stuck it in some kid’s ear (much, much worse). Maybe you could convince the public that the first part was an “accident,” but definitely not the wielding and bandying it about part.* I’d say your best bet is moving to northern Canada and keeping your business in your pants.

Wow first of all, you can tell most of these idiots are American, or if not, just incredibly stupid.
Its funny to see how everyone shys away from the fact that Dog is only human, he spends most of his days trying to help people and works hard at what he does, this can be stressful, so if all you grumpy people want to hate him for an 8 minit tape recording, well done, you managed to create a race war out of pretty much nothing, Ok fine i get it that african americans are offended by the term he used, but if they have any sense of security and compassion and understanding of any sort, they should laugh at Dogs stupidity more than anything, and accept his apology regardless of whether he is sincere or not. Reality Check Please!
If you listen to what Dog said you’ll hear that he didn’t want the (black) girl around because his family uses the N-word and he didn’t want the rest of the world to know because it would affect his bank account. Dog is just like a lot of folks whose TV persona isn’t who they REALLY are. (OJ, Kramer Guy and probably most of Hollywood) Money has a way of making all of us act politically correct.

First off,
Caucasians and African Americans are no different from each other because we all are guilty of similar things, we just do them differently. Everybody in America needs to just grow up and get over themselves!!!! This is the year 2007 if you have nothing better to do then to judge African Americans as if your “Shit” doesn’t stink then you are ignorant and pathetic no matter who you are. It’s easier said then done to throw words around as if they do not affect people when they really do. Dog was wrong no matter how you look at it, if it was a black person talking about a white person and using the term the way he did, “You would be offended and want him to be punished in some way or fashion”. It seems that racism will never end and that hurts me because the color of your skin means nothing its all about the person and there values and views. If you have hatred in your heart, then you are obviously unhappy with yourself and need someone else to take it out on. We all eat, shit and breathe the same way, until we all figure it out and realize that color is not the enemy its the devil using us against each other to stir up confusion and war. “When someone is guilty of a crime or something in general I don’t blame the color of their skin I blame the individual. Every white women or man is not against “Blacks” and every Black man or women are not against “Whites” our world tells us to point the finger and racial profile people when you do. I have a step farther that is white but you will not see him misusing the “N” word around me or my mother because no matter what you could be thinking there are some things you keep to yourself and you have to know your place. A lot of races may make fun of themselves or call each other names within their race, but that is because that race has an understanding of the meaning or the way it is used and they can relate to their own words within their culture. You rarely hear a Black person refer to a Mexican as a “Wet back” or “Beaner” or even a White person “Cracker” or “Honkie” we would just say Mexican or White man or woman. The “N” word is thrown around like its nothing and it all goes back to slavery, but I’m not going to go into that subject. I just had to speak my peace on this issue because people are so contradicting and think one thing is wrong compared to another and no matter how it is viewed “if its wrong its just wrong” no matter the severity of the situation.
