Nick Hogan Arrested

Hulk Hogan’s son Nick Hogan was booked today on multiple criminal charges stemming from his car accident back in August. You might remember the crash left passenger 22-year old John Graziano on life support with little more motor function than periodically opening and shutting his eyes. According to People Magazine

Charges against the teen include reckless driving involving serious bodily injury in connection; using a motor vehicle in commission of a felony; being under age 21 and operating a vehicle while having a breath-alcohol level of .02 percent or higher; and having illegal window tinting. According to the paper, blood work done on Bollea two hours after the crash showed his “ethanol serum level” at 0.055 percent.

The Hogan family response, issued via their lawyers:

There has been much speculation as to the speed and wet road conditions surrounding this accident. Although all the evidence has not been evaluated, preliminary reports from the experts indicate that this was not, in fact, a high-speed accident. Because Nick is still a juvenile and has no prior criminal record, we are disappointed that he is being charged as an adult offender.

The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seatbelt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire [Hogan] family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seatbelt.

Oh, kudos, Hogan family. Seatbelt awareness, all so that the opening and closing of John Graziano’s eyes may not be in vain. It reminds me of the classic chick flick “Beaches,” the story of two unlikely friends discovering the true meaning of friendship. That is, Bette Midler blaming the catatonic guy for not wearing a seat belt while she’s playing Tokyo Drift in the rain after a couple of drinks. Rated PG-13 for language and gratuitous finger-pointing.

  1. next thing you know, hogan’s lawyer will be blaming the accident on graziano himself. i used to like the hulkster back in the day, but what the hell did he do to his kids to make them so damn self-centered? oh, yeah, thank god NICK was wearing his seatbelt, if JOHN had been wearing HIS, OUR family wouldn’t be suffering so!

i’m glad he’s being tried as an adult, and in florida, too.

sorry. rant over. damned idiot “celebrities”.

  6. HOW COME THIS DOPE IS ALIVE ?????????

  7. Oh I have waited for this day. That kid is a brat. Now they are going to start blaming the poor kid in the coma. Sick third-rate fucks.

  8. Oh wow I was a hogan fan but now I’m not sure…
the poor boy thats suffering so much and yet the Hogan’s are like were gonna use this as an example to wear your seatbelt…true yea but come on do something for the one thats suffering!!!…. Nick will be fine but the other I wish him [[good LUCK]]

  9. No one should be judging Nick. He is a teenage kid, simply doing what teenage kids do. Who doesn’t drink before they’re 21? What teenager hasn’t been in a street race? He & his longtime friend were both partying that day, his friend was just as much part of the race as him, there is no way his friend said oh no, please dont race.PLEASE! Young guys love pushing the envelope, its just a part of growing up. Nick did not set out that day to injure his friend, it was a freakin accident, sadly it can happen to anyone. Everyone has been negligent a time or two in their life, people all the time yammering on the damn cell phone swerving in & out of lanes driving 80mph. Are u kidding, that is just as dangerous as drag racing maybe more and millions of people are guilty of it everyday. Nick will have to live with his own guilt the rest of his life, he should face some consequences for drinking and driving, putting him away will not make the situation better, maybe he could talk to other teens about the dangers of alcohol and street racing, who knows it could save a life, and make something positive out of a terribly negative situation. He should not have the book slammed at him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved.

  10. He deserves whats coming to him, should not have been so cocky. A good life experience that hopefully will change his perspective.

  11. What makes nick any different from anyone else? Hogans saying the boy didn’t have his seat belt on? Well if Nick was one to take the blame for his actions, He should never of driven the car till the seat belt was put on. It is the law. But then what Nick did was against the law any way. Nick should get what ever is coming to him just like you or I would get.

  12. I thought most of Calif. drivers were IDIOTS… Especially the BOOZ and doper types. How many driving charges dose it take before you remove the IDIOT from behind the wheel… Truley next time it could be someone in your family thats the victom. Nick has demonstrated he is incapable of handling a vehicle. BAR that Idiot for life…

  13. Have you guys seen Nicks prison mug shot? He looks kinda happy. Thats so messed up. I hope he stays in prison for a long time.

  14. Hulk,
Get in the real world, clown.
Bitch slap that kid of yours into Orange County.
Then have Jesse Ventura do the same to (for) you!

  15. I liked everyones comments are in here EXCEPT “Compassion Counts!

They asked the question of the difference between Nick
Hogan (the spoiled brat) verses any other kid. Ok,
heres your answer: There are SEVERAL accounts of this
hothead going over 100 miles an hour and being pulled over
by the police in Florida, and then letting Nick go with
a simple warning. Nick himself even brags of a time he was
driving from one city to the other in Floria, when he was stopped THREE (3) times in a row over the course of about 10 miles for doing 110 mpg, 103 mph with a warning to slow down just a few minutes from each other. But on the third time, the Nick sped up to 111 mph and once again got pulled over. Only this time the officer told Nick that he heard on the radio that his two buddies had just pulled him over and only gave him warnings when he should have gone to jail. But this time he said he will issue Nich a speeding ticking for going 111 mpg.

And then Nick bragged that he has been given several speeding tickets in the past. While Nick was telling or bragging about his criminal driving past, there was a smurk on his face. He thought it was so cute and funny about the way he drives.

Personally, I hold all those officers liable and responsible
for letting Nick go with only a warning. Shame on them!
I also hold papa Hulkster equally responsable for not doing anything about his son’s wild and irrisponsible driving habits.

By the time this is done, the Hulgan’s and attorny will be blaming the palm tree that Nick crashed into, the asphalt,
the lines in the road, the name brand of the alchohal Nick
was drinking, the tires of the car, ect. ect ect…. EVERYONE
and everything will be at fault except Nick. You can count on that to happen.

And the person that said that the driver or operator of the car is fully responsible for his passangers saftly, including
seat belts. And if the passanger refuses to put on a seat belt as required by law, then the operator of the car or vehicle has the right not to operate that vehicle until all the laws are met. So that gets back to Nick too.

And to that idiot, “Compassion Counts” where they said that they doubted the passanger was screeming to slow down or whatever and not to race. Let me tell you something, there have been many times when I have been a passanger of a car and have asked both politely and very harshly to the driver to slow down.

And IF I knew they were going to drag race with me being in the car, I would absoltelyt demand they don’t do it or let me out of the car NOW!! So Nick’s passanger could have been the victim of Nick’s arrogance. Or it might have happened so fast that the passanger didn’t have time to know what was going on.

But we’ll never know that now will we? Since the passangeres brain is missing from the crash and he is in a coma and unable to tell his side of the story. My gut feeling is, he told Nick to slow down but Nick thought it was a joke and kept going. I base that on his age of 22 and being in Iraq verses a spoiled brat of 17, who has never yaken responsibilty for anything in his young life.

In conclusion, I predict that no matter what happens in
the court room or his 22 year old passanger lives or dies. Nothing will happen to Nick. He’ll never spend 1 second in jail. And most to all those charges will be either dropped completely or it will get down to a $20 jay walking ticket and then this case will be sealed forever as if it never happened.

And ohh yeah, one last thing, Nick will be getting a brand new car out of this. His over protected daddy will sympathize with his dear sweet perfect son, and the day Nick walks out of court a free kid with everything dropped, they will be off to a car dealer to buy Nick any car he wants. Nick will be a hero and female fans will wants to sleep with him and all will be perfect in the Holgan family once again.

Thats how the rich and famous are.

  16. In reponse to Compassion counts…

“What teenager hasn’t been in a street race? ”

…me! I’m now 25 and I have never, even as a teenager, been in a street race. I find it extremely worrying you would make a statement like that, suggesting that street racing is a common occurance and normal.

I personally believe any teenager or young person who feels the need to race around the streets, has serious insecurity issues. Its just a sad attempt to look cool and its dangerious.

It puts the public in danger, let alone the passengers. Ive known people who have been killed by boy-racers who thought it was cool to race around the streets and roads.

Yes Nick is young and no doubt they do drink, thats normal. Im from the UK and the drinking age is 18 so I cant comment otherwise. But they SHOULD NOT have been driving back home after being out drinking and partying.

Do they not have taxi’s? Could one of their parents not driven them home? Do they not haave public transport! Oh wait… no… this is Nick Hogan… he doest use taxis or public transport like every other celebrities.

There is no excuse to drink and drive and Nick being the driver of the car should have made sure all his passengers had their seat belts on. I would if I was driving a super car like that.

Who in their right mind drives a suped up car like that after drinking anything?

  17. what do you mean woo hoo! as long as he takes responsibilty for his actions what do you care if he goes to jail or not! I can’t even beleive how shady all of you sound! if you had fame and money please like you wouldn’t use it to help yourself out of bad situation and who says he is doing that anyway. That is a good friend of his from what we have all read! and yeah even when bad things happen you have to try to go on with life. He was driving imagine if you had to live with that the rest of your life. None of us know how he feels and since everyone thinks they are so perfect and say you would never be like that if it were you (even though none of us know what being like “that” is) it doens’t matter becasue it’s not up to you what the outcome is! Instead of being evil bitter people why not take all of that negtive SH** you are sayign about nick and say a damn prayer for his friend ASS*****!

  18. Ok im kinda pissed off about the comments people have been leaving, ok first off i wanna say he was at fault and he should be tried…im not sure on his age but if it is atleast 17 he should be tried as an adult.. now getting to wat i am pissed about… firstly idk wat the law is where he lives but where im from if the passenger is 18 it is there responsibility to put on the seatbelt not the drviers to be there parent.. and i am in the army and I here you all upset that he hurt a soldier… first off the “soldier” shouldnt have let the minor drink underage now once again idk wat its like over there but i know here he would get in trouble for distribution to a minor or for just allowing him to drink. AND WATS WORSE you people hate the soldiers saying how we shouldnt kill these people how we shouldnt be there how we need not get involved… i never hear anything good about us till something like this happens then ur all about us.. wat the hell? look drop it cuz hes a person who knowingly allowed an intoxicated minor drive drunk and not wear his seatbelt…im sorry this happened i truly am but dont blame nick for this guys stupidity… and im gonna leave with 2 things 1. nick should be punished to the full extent of the law and 2. I know nobody is gonna read this i just had to messege anyway

  19. TomNo Gravatar

Seems like its easy to judge Nick, He made a mistake. OK. We all make mistakes problem is his mistake may have cost someone else there life. The kid isnt a bad kid he has money. That isnt bad either,Seems whats pissing people off is he is a celebrity. If he was Joe average we would have never even heard of the accident. What people do need to be doing is looking at there own lives. Quit judging Nick for his mistake let the law and GOD judge Nick. The right things will happen. If you people really want to do something besides complain. Pray for his friend, See if there is a way to help with his medical bills and hopefully a good recovery.

  20. So much hypocrisy everywhere from the holier than thou crowd. The entertainment vehicles applaud sex, drugs, and rock & roll. Nascar, hockey, football, wrestling, etc., etc., etc. is everywhere you look on TV, and the street, etc. Speed demon is just another high, and if the majority is so against all this then legislate prohibition and no more on TV, oh but that was tried before, and repealed in 1933. People are not so holy, they want and go along with all this adrenalin rush and violence. It all sends a mixed message. There will continue to be accidents and deaths, cause this high is what the people want, else you would not see it everyday on TV and the movies. Hold Nick accountable, but understand it is as much a function of the environment, as his enablement and stop acting like you all don’t take a S*** on the same pot, holier than thou, because maybe you did not catch the speed demon, but most everone has their own demons buried in some closet, and if you say not, you are a liar, and the truth is not in you. But……no more fast driving off the track for Nick, he got out of control. Supervision yes, prison no.

  21. Sure Nick overdid it a bit, but like what “Compassion Counts” said, what teenage kid wouldn’t? My condolences go out to John Graziano and his family, but this should also be a lesson for him, too… Wearing a seatbelt can really do more good than harm, no?

  22. You have GOT to be kidding me. Shit happens everyday. Lets just let justice prevail and KEEP the MEDIA OUT! My condolences to John Graziano and family. Good luck Nick!

  23. I DON’T AGREE WITH YOU! SOMEONES SON,BROTHER,OR BOYFRIEND MIGHT NOT MAKE IT! OR MIGHT NOT EVER BE THE SAME MENTALLY! BECAUSE OF IGNORANCE! AND YOUR RIGHT, MAYBE IT DID GET MORE ATTENTION BECAUSE HE IS A STAR, AND THAT’S GREAT! BECAUSE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW NO MATTER THE MONEY YOU HAVE YOU CANNOT GET AWAY WITH JUST ANYTHING!! I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT IF IT WERE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER YOU WOULD BE SINGIN A DIFFERENT SONG!!! MAN UP NICK!!! AND HULK TEACH YOUR SON SOME VALUES!!!!CAUSE OBVIOUSLY PEOPLES LIVES DEPEND ON IT!!!

  24. I know one thing for sure; and that is that Nick Hogan should have to pay personally somehow for his irresponsible behavior, and the only way to do that is send his young ass to jail for at least 6 months, or longer! A heavy fine isn’t enough because his old man will pay it; no skin off Nicky’s nose!! I have a low opinion of the Hogan family now since this incident, and now I can see how shallow, moronic and selfish those people really are! I hope that Hogan gets sued up the ass by the Grazianos, and he has to pay for that boys’ care for the rest of his life! Hulk has not taught his kids what he should, and his wife is an idiot who herself needs discipline! It’s evident that their show is all fake! He and his wife have spoiled those kids rotten!

  25. Say what you want, but I’m 30 and have been hanging out with street racers and have been street racing since I was 18. When you hang out with that kind of crowd-you know the risks that you’re getting yourself into-either as a driver or a passenger. It doesn’t matter if you’re a guy or girl, in the military, teenager, or adult-if you hang in that scene, you’re gonna love the rush of driving that fast…and yes, you do seem like you’re invincible (add to the fact that you’re a teenage boy and a little alcohol, and nothing can stop you.) I’m not saying that it’s right-I’ve seen several friends die in these cases-but like anything else-it’s a matter of getting caught. Yes, street racing is common, it’s a lifestyle, a big lifestyle, and yes, we should all take responsibilty for our own actions. Unfortunately, I think that teenagers just don’t have the driving experience, or maturity to have any business street racing. No matter what happens to Nick, I hope that he has learned something valuable from this incident.

  26. PS Daniel
I AM PROUD OF EVERY SINGLE SOLDIER out there fighting in the Middle East! You guys are out there defending our freedoms from terrorism and I will stand up and defend every single one of you if anyone said anything different! I visited a family member at Walter Reed Hospital and spoke with many injured soldiers and was so proud of their spirits and proud of every single one of them for their sacrifice! Yeah, we want you guys home, but don’t ever doubt your duties or loyalty to this country-no one has more patriotism than you guys!

  27. hahaha ur all gay hogans are all better than all of u..stfu ur all jealous…he shouldnt of got jail time…he should be let go..wasnt his fault

  28. I wish everyone would get over it.. Yes nick had something to drink and decided to drive. Was he wrong sure he was but this other kid had the choice to get into the car the other kid had prior knowledge of nick having alcohol in his system and it was the other kids choice not to wear his seeat belt. Sure Nick could have stepped in and made him wear a seat belt but ultimately everything is up to the individual. Everyone makes irresponisble choices when they are young should nick get some punishment yes but tried as an Adult NO… Im sorry tht the other kid got hurt but he had a decision and unfortuantly he choose wrong. some people choose not to go to college should we blame their high school teachers NO. Yall need to get over it both were in the wrong but this shouldnt follow nick for the rest of his life.

  29. Whats the matter with you people. HE NEEDS TO PAY FOR HIS MISTAKES. And it should be in the media. Damn these lil rich kids have everything handed to them and think they are invincible, RACHEL said that his friend had the choice to get into that car, which i agree to BUT its not the passenger i care about ITS EVERY INNOCENT MOTHER, DAUGHTER, BROTHER , FATHER that he COULD OF KILLED. dont you get it. When will you all learn.

  30. That kid shouldn’t have been an idiot and just wore his seatbelt. He was much older than Nick. Maybe he should have been the adult in the situation and put on his seatbelt and said hey maybe you shouldn’t drive so fast. Also who do you think bought the alcohol? The john kid was an irresponsible immature guy that ended up getting injured badly because of his own choices and actions.

  31. Parents that give their children material attention, instead of mental attention, because they forget what is more important in their childrens life’s, tend to make excuses for examples “Nick Hogan”, seems that parents forget “That replying “NO” as an anwer is possibly what a child is crying out for. Instead of “yes” . In this day and age there are alot of Single parentsw especially Single Mom’s, that wish they could stay at home with their children. Her is a Women that probably will never have to work another day of her “Life”, and instead of telling her son, you must deal with the consequences. She is enabling him to not become a Responsible person, in our World.
wHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN THE NEXT TIME HE GETS BEHIND THE WHEELL, INTOXICATED? “DEATh”, AT WHOSE EXPENSE.
pROBLEMS AND ADDICTIONS DO NOT CHOOSE HOW RICH OR POOR , OR YOUR GENDER, OR RACE. HOGANS ” FIND HELP FOR YOUR SON’ AND YOURSELFS FORGIVE YOURSELFS, IF YOU ARE TAKING THE BLAME FOR THE PATH HE CHOOSE, FIND THE RIGHT PATH, FOR THIS IS POSSIBLY AN AWAKENING CALL. THIS IS NOT A RELIGOUS MESSAGE, JUST ANOTHER HUMAN “PARENT’ WITH A SON

  32. WOW ARE YOU PEOPLE SERIOUS? THOUGH A CELEBRITY OR NOT, PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES, IT’S NOT LIKE HE’S LAUGHING WHILE HIS FRIEND IS IN THE HOSPITAL! HE IS STILL A PERSON AND I KNOW THAT HE THINKS ABOUT WHAT HE HAS DONE AND WILL BE FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
PEOPLE DO THINGS THAT LEAD TO THERE OWN DESTINY, HOGAN’S FRIEND HAD THE OPTION TO PUT ON A SEATBELT. THOSE BOYS DID NOT GO OUT AND INTENTIONALLY WANTING TO GET INTO A CAR ACCIDENT.
FOR THOSE OF YOU SAYING “ROT IN JAIL”….HAVE A HEART, HE HAS TO LIVE WITH WHAT HE DID FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE, ISN’T THAT ENOUGH?!?!?!

  33. Rish, it doesnt seem like he is too broken up about his friend.
Normal teens make mistakes, that is true. But normal people also feel bad about it.
Did you hear the taped phone conversation from jail that the little twit had with daddy Hulk?
He was asking if daddy Hulk could try to get him a reality show deal or equivalent out of this, a sort of “celebrity survives jail” sort of thing.
This kid needs to get slapped.
    Twice.

He is crying about being in solitary. He should feel damn lucky he is in solitary. They SHOULD put him in general population and see how well he fares. He’s obviously not too bright in addition to being self-centered.

  34. My life has been touched by dranking and driving. I don’t think that Nick has learned any thing from this, I also don’t think his family has. They don’t know how it feels to lose a love one buy some one elses hands. To me that is what he did. What if he had of hit a car with a family in it? TO his parents thank god that you can still touch him and hug them. Instead of talking about how sorry he is or how thankful he is to be alive. I hope that he will learn something. Many lifes has be touched. I hope that something good will come out of this. To his parents. Don’t make money off of this let Nick know that what he did could of been alot worse than what it was.

  35. Im not a attorney. But the guy that is laying in a coma. Is he not over 21 and if so he could have been to drunk to drive. So then maybe nick drove because the other guy couldnt. It dont explain or excuse the excessive speed that was blamed for the crash. Her is my question if the guy in a coma is over 21 in the state i live in he would have been convicted of contributing to a minor. i have not heard how old he is just that he has served two terms in the service. So if i do the math you cant join till your 18 so he would have to be atleast 22 if a term is 2 years

  36. i hope nick hogan see this because he is going to hell.. he may have escape this and not care of what happen to his friend, but his minutes are finishing and soon he will die and go to hell where he belongs

  37. people i get it the boy made a huge mistake which might cause someone else their lives. we all make mistakes so stop judging you are not any better. this can happend to anyone, the only reason everybody are so ready to judge is because he’s a celebrity. he’s a teenager that makes dunmb decisions just the rest of us. so stop judging, let god ne the judge, let the law take care of it. no one is perfect. all of you that are so ready to judge take a look at your own live.
