Britney Spears faces yet another emergency hearing today — this one for her propensity for running red lights with the kiddies in the car — but we’re still waiting for K-Fed’s lawyers to jump on her popping positive for amphetamines. TMZ says
Sources connected with Spears [said] yesterday that the drug that may have caused the positive was Provigil, used to treat narcolepsy. But [research later revealed that] Provigil would not show up on a court-ordered drug test. Britney Spears will now say her false positive drug test may have been caused by [the asthma drug Albuterol via] her inhaler. But again, we checked, and Albuterol is not an amphetamine — the class of drug that showed up on the test was an amphetamine.
Unless donuts and pork rinds are chock-full of meth, I’m afraid our Britney might have knowingly violated her court-ordered sobriety. It’s not like we even need a test to know she’s using, anyway. Her skin pretty much says it all. She’s just a few months away from looking like someone set her face on fire and put it out with an icepick. The being fat was a good cover and all, but the “asthma bit” was just overkill. Sure, she might actually have an inhaler, but it’s not for asthma. It’s just for opening up her windpipe in preparation for the all you can eat buffet at the Sizzler and maximizing inhalation when she’s smoking meth. Really, let’s try to stay within the realm of the believable, Brit. It’s like you’re not even trying anymore.

Asthma, narcolepsy, give me a break. Are you kidding me. This is all just a freaking cover up for her apparent drug use. She isn’t acting to smart these days. The children need their mother, but NOT like this. I hope she wakes up and realizes that her children are number one now, not her, It’s NOT all about Brittney anymore. Is about those children. why is it that everyone trashes on brittney?! she is only human. EVERYONE has made and will make mistakes. so maybe she is an addict… bet there is someone in your family right now who is an addict. maybe w/ drugs or food or sex, whatever the case may be, its obvious that people (children included) are affected by addiction, when its someone close to them. Do i think Brit is a bad mother - nope! do i think that kevin is a bad father - nope! but they really need to work together on this one - not against each other. i feel for brittney, she needs God in her life. brittney spear need to think about her kids. She need to think about how hard it would be on her kids if they lost their mother at a very younger age. I don’t know what i would do if i lost my daughter. She need to know that her Kids come first in her life she need to tell her kids that she love them enough to get help with her problem that she got. I’m pretty sure that things like leaving your kids unsupervised in a pool, driving recklessly with them in the car (not properly restrained either) and using drugs when you’re meant to be looking after your kids doesn’t put you in the ‘good mother’ catagory…
Also - If someone in my family was addicted to drugs and alcohol and wasn’t capable of looking after their kids, we’d be calling child welfare and seeking to get them out of that environment until their parent was stable enough to take care of them. Those kids don’t deserve to be neglected like they are.

Im sick of hearing about what Britney is doing wrong. She is a human being no different then anyone else. So many parents are doing worse things to their kids and no one does a thing. And for the lady who said she would put her family members into the system. Wait untill that child dies or is abused or raped, and then maybe you will get off your high horse. I think she should have her kids taken away from her, thats bullshit she’s already gotten so many chances and that she thinks she can get away w/all of it; those babies dont deserve that; and yeah maybe there are people setting a worse example out there for their kids but I hope they see what should happen to her and maybe think about how they should be acting around their kids, it’s one thing to run a red light by yourself in the car but to do it w/ your kids in the car is stupid; I dont feel bad for her at all, I think she needs to pull her head out of her ass and start acting like a responsible mother that she should be. Omg……She is human and yes humans do make mistakes but she has had plenty of people telling her “You need to do this and this and dont do this” they are giving her a guide to mother-hood and she is not paying it no attition.
