After working for Jenny Craig for the last three years, actress Kirstie Alley is “stepping down” as the spokesperson for the weight loss company. Translation: her fat ass got fired. According to People magazine

“Although Kirstie will not appear in future advertising endeavors for us, she does remain on Jenny Craig’s maintenance program and is confident that our program has helped her,” [says the] vice-president of marketing for Jenny Craig. “She’s proud to have been able to participate in the creation of Jenny’s award-winning advertising campaign, and says she’s thankful for the opportunity to help so many other people lose weight and keep it off.”

She’s also grateful for KFC’s big box variety meal and Sam’s Club bucket o’ bread pudding. And those Fresh Bath-Bathing Wipes for those days you’re too fat to bend over in the shower.

  3. Was this photo taken during an exorcism? That’s not a very nice gesture to make in front of a priest. Perhaps the power of deep-fried junkfood compelled her.

  4. She looks like she ought to be stuffed in a La Z Boy with ice cream dribbling down her chin as she watches her stories. Or complaining to a police officer on an episode of COPS that “J.D. jess gets meaner’n hell when he drinks up that hooch.”

  5. I saw some pics looks like her very much at mixedfriends.com. It’s so sorry to hear of her bad news. Just want her back.

  6. Yeah, it sure doesn’t fix fat or Travolta would be so Revolta.

  7. Kristie Alley made me take notice of the Jenny Craig program. The weight that Kristie lost was amazing and when Valerie lost her weight, I joined the program. I admire both women for being so open about their battle with the bulge and personal life. They are “for real”.

  8. Kirstie Alley has worked as hard as she could trying to lose the weight and keep it off.Now why do you want to give her a hard time? She is a real person with real feeling to. Do you think it is fare to be judged by your weight. She is amazing and very pretty person no matter how much she weights.Just think of all the wonderful shows she has been in.I have had many of laughs from cheers and all the movies she has been in.Then she goes forward to the public to help people the best way she can to loose weight.Yes, i know she has been payed to do that, but i am sure she was hurting inside going public with her weight problem.

Do you think that you are perfect in every way? Judge and you will be judged, i am sure you don’t want your laundry out there. She has children and it is not fare to the children to grow up knowing that people are making fun of there mother just for being over weight. It is not funny to me to hear this about no one with a weight problem.

Yes, i read she is going to have her third baby in December 26 2008. So, this is the thanks you are giving her when she made us laugh maybe when we were having a bad day, in all the funny shows she was in. God bless her and her family and the new baby that is coming.

Wishing you the very best in life,

    Barbara

  9. Fired for being too fat, that sounds like grounds for a discrimination law suit.

  10. A Great salesperson would have taken Alley’s situation and turned it into gold. Build the maintenance program . . . showcase Kirstie and the more realistic side of weight loss . . . she coulda-woulda-shoulda been the spokesperson for aaaallll the people who have been trying and trying, but keep backsliding. But NoooooOOOOooooo — Instead of FINDING a DIFFERENT method of approach that is more effective for Kirstie and people like just like her. JENNY CRAIG GAVE UP on their client — and set an example for how they will treat others just like her. That’s a HUGE clientele of $$$ to lose out on. No pun intended. Hey Kirstie !! Try HERBALIFE protein shakes — it’s better than smoothies and helps you lose weight the healthy way. And I still eat all my favorites. Not only did I lose weight, but I also feel more energetic. It helps regulate metabolism — and at my age (mid-40s) — it’s become virtually life-saving.

  11. None of you are a .10 the individual.
None of you has done .01 the things she’s accomplished.
I doubt any of you have ever helped anyone.

  12. May God look kindly upon the awful people who have made those terrible comments about Kirstie in their time of need. I was 110lbs a decade ago and now need to lose 60 lbs. It is a horrible feeling and a self loathing, sometimes hopeless battle. Leave her alone. Could you imagine having to deal with your issues in the public eye with someone constantly taking your picture to embarrass you and your children. What these tabloids do should be against the law. Kirstie, if you ever read this, hang in there. You are a beautiful person on the outside and seem to be on the inside as well. Your children don’t care if you’re person. To them, you’re just mom, and I’m sure they love you just the way you are. You’ll turn this around. I know you will. I’m struggling too and totally get it. In my frustration today, I went to McD’s. It’s a disease this weight loss thing. I hate it. The trick is to keep loving ourselves while we try to figure it all out. Don’t give up. I won’t either.
