This isn’t “fun” or “cool”. This is dressing a little girl up like a prostitute and calling it good. I played dress up too as a child and at no time did my Mom dress me up to look like a whore. Of course, she instilled in me a sense of self-worth and self-respect so I didn’t feel the need to tramp myself up to get attention. Parents should be outraged over this not trying to defend it!! Who in their right mind would let a little girl dress like this??

And just because you have a “different style” doesn’t mean you should tramp your kids up like prostitutes. We don’t need to give the degenerates any more ammunition. Unless, of course, it doesn’t bother you that some freak wants to have sex with your 2 year old. This isn’t about a clothing line or Beyonce as much as it is about keeping our kids safe (White, Black, Asian, etc). This is wrong on so many levels.

The little girls are just playing dress up. I did it when I was that age. This is what Ms. Knowles is trying to capture — the fun and essence of that time. It is actually a very important event in a young girls life – dressing up is so fun and makes an impact on your personality. I wore pink high heels, chiffon scarves and poured Chanel #5 all over everything.

Find something else to complain about. I think the clothes are wonderful and this has been taken to the extreme.

The clothing is even tackier than Baby Phat. They do look like hos.
And for everyone on here: everyone has the right to take offense to whatever they choose, let whoever get offended with the comments. But let me say that I’ve lived in Oklahoma, Texas, and now I’m in Atlanta and I don’t understand why it gets so ugly when there’s a sterotype. All the Rednecks and whitetrash in Oklahoma and Texas laugh at themselves and along with whoever else wants to join in. I don’t use those words but they’re out there. Sterotypes aren’t just grabbed out of thin air, there are reasons people get labeled. Is everyone who lives in that region a redneck??? Uh no.
I have a lot of friends in Atlanta that are black (being white, I’m a minority here) and they all laugh at themselves and at me for being so white. Relax and get a sense of humor.
Unfortunetly, there are areas in this country that are still extremely racist and I walked into one of their bars in Indiana and almost got my ass kicked for making them all look like asses, but they’re just ignorant. This isn’t a racist blog, just cracking a joke on the sterotype. If Jeff Foxworthy comes out with his kid’s clothing line of plaid flannels, wife beaters, and overalls -I can guarantee you I’ll be the first on here to rip on our own whitetrashness.
