Christian Bale’s Mom and Sister Wanted Money

Rejoice! Your faith in Christian Bale can now be restored — his mother and sister filed those unfortunate assault charges earlier this week after he refused them a $200,000 loan. It’s all starting to make sense now! According to The Sun

The women said sister Sharon needed [$200,000] to help her bring up her three children. Christian was asked to loan [it to] her but refused and that caused an almighty row. Sources close to Bale said Jenny inflamed the situation by hurling insults about his wife.

[His mother and sister say] they did not want any publicity. But they say he bullied them. They are both devastated that it has come to this but want him to be taught a lesson.

You can always count on relatives to show up at an inopportune time and start demanding money. Especially in my family, where the monetary demands occasionally come with a court-ordered paternity test. Did I mention I’m from the South? Woo doggie! Cue the banjo music and the moonshine jug any time now.

I kinda figured he is not the kind to go after family members for no reason. After all, he and his Dad went to America and ditched the rest of the carney family. When he comes back to the homeland they try to hit him up for more cash. I would fire back and shove one of them out of the way too.

His Mom and Sister are money grabbers. Of course he didn’t want to give his sister money. If she was stupid enough to get knocked up and not have the funds to take care of the kids, then she deserves what comes. AND saying he attacked them is just another way to get at his money. They will probably settle out of court. The funny thing is that people like that always end up spending all the money and having nothing left to show for it. It sad that his own mother encourages her but she id probably not much better than the sister. I would go out of my way not to give them anything if I were him. Even if it means doing a little time in jail. They derserve nothing!

the part i don’t get, is, why does everyone so desperately want him to be innocent (i’m looking at YOU sonya!)? it’s one more actor, in one more multi-million dollar film.
you can take the man out of the carny, but you can’t take the carny out of the man.

btw, love the “deer in the headlights” look in that header!!

  5. Bale seems too composed and in-control of himself to ever physically go after anyone

Greedy bitches. Christian, I still love you!

It’s because he’s tall, dark and handsome. Even if he looks a little confused in most of the pictures.

Heck, I’d slap both of them too. What kind of mother leaves her child no matter what the circumstances. She’s no mother. As for the sister. She shouldn’t be having any kids if she can’t financially take care of them. What about the father of these kids. Why isn’t she hitting them up for cash? These baseless kinds of complaints of domestic violence result in those who truly are victims of domestic violence not being believed by the
    police or the judicial system.

I honestly don’t know what to think of this. I come from an asian culture where it’s a normalty for parents and children to live together forever. My parents live with my wife and I and are dependent on my income. It’s okay, they took care of me, raised me.. so I will take care of them now. And I’m not even filthy rich, if I was, I would definitely take good care of family, and that extends to my brothers and sisters as well. Assuming that they deserve it, and are just normal hardworking people. However, if they were lazy and of bad character, then I would not help.

So, for me, we need to know more info about the situation. I’m with Bale if his sister is lazy, influenced by her husband to leech, or simply just a bad person. However, if his sister is just a normal working citizen, in my heart, I cannot turn down my sister, I would help her. Especially if I’m crazy rich like Bale, and $200k wouldn’t put a dent in my bank accounts. Family is so important, if you have the money and your family are geniune nice people, you need to take care of them if you have the resource. God forbid, but imagine something bad should happen to his sister, and his last memory of her will about how she asked for help, and he refused.

Right now, I guess the picture that’s painted is that thes are money grabbers and that Bale is not stingy and wouldn’t hurt people. That’s what we want to believe about our superhero, right?

I may be late entering this discussion..To Billy Tsai, I too am Asian, and blessed to have been born into big, loving family, married forever.. my job involves influencing the lives of families and singles, hence I am a keen observer of human behavior. After studying Christian’s bio, the video of his angry rant, the allegations of assault from mother, sister; and their request for huge amount of money…

Well Billy.. do you have a sister that asked for 200K?? As you said, you don’t earn a filthy amount of money.. well, do remember, Christian was making only up to 100K per film in his earlier career. If he is British, half goes to taxes, deduct some for the tax consultant, some commission to agents, minders etc etc.. and how much is left?

And earning this without the formal education, it could only have come through sheer hard work, determination, courage, high risks taken.. then to risk moving from UK to USA.. starting life afresh in foreign land…well, he had his youth, good health and he is obviously intelligent and hard working.. something his sister could learn from..

Not to mention isn’t Christian the younger child?? So the whole family depended on him for their rice bowl (or should I say bread basket).

I’ve haven’t watched many of his films.. he’s a new actor for me, however I read he is very dedicated to his craft..I suppose if he were anything else..he would be just as passionate..

Btw, he is born year of Tiger, same as me. Like most Tigers, his roar is probably bigger than his bite.. he is emotional, quick tempered, but inside is a big heart, capable of great loyalty and kindness, generousity.. well, the latest news is the great film director Zhang Yimou will direct Christian in a new film based on war massacre, a story called Nanjing Hero.. and I would think Christian would not be hired for the starring role, unless he really was the consummate professional that he’d been lauded by many that worked with him.

Yes, he earn millions.. now.. and half goes to taxes.. and he probably is far too busy working long hours on the set of films to enjoy the money he earns.. I worked with many executives, I see their huge pay packet.. and believe me.. do not envy someone who travels and works making over US$100K or more.. the more you earn.. the less life you have..less sleep you have.. less time with family..less privacy.. and ultimately your life shortened due to ill health etc.. look at Heath Ledger as good example.. money can’t buy happiness..

That’s my 2 cents of sharing.. sorry to be long winded.. if Christian had a loving family like you do Brian, I am sure he’d give them lots of his money… if he didn’t there must be big reason..so we cannot judge.. just thank God, you and I have loving family…and don’t have nasty fan mail directed at us..I wish Christian well..hope he win an Oscar..it doesn’t appear he had much of a boyhood..
