Pop star “All That’s Missing Are the Testicles” Pink is rumored to have turned to Scientology to help her work through her split with husband Carey Hart. Contact Music says

Friends reveal the singer has sought comfort from [confirmed Scientologist] Juliette Lewis, who is introducing her to the controversial religion. A source tells Star magazine, “Pink is in the beginning stages of checking out the religion, but she has taken to it and she wants to get more involved.”

Well, “getting involved” in the religion is easy enough. Step 1 — cut off all friends and family NOT affiliated with Scientology, alienating yourself completely; Step 2 — cough up hundreds of thousands of dollars for barley water and thetan-repellent outerwear; Step 3 — start working the word “glib” into everyday conversation, preferably accusatorily and on live TV; and Step 4 — wait for your career to come crashing down around you like so many bricks made of poisonous snakes of failure.     Dude, let’s put aside for the moment her mannish tendencies and newfound cult leanings, so that we may talk about why the hell her hair is GREY. In some of the thumbs it even looks bluish-grey. What the shit is going on there? And why is she dressed like the bastard love child of an ice cream shoppe awning and the drag version of Gwen Stefani? I don’t like it. Make it stop.

    …I do, however, kinda like her new song. I know, I know, but it’s so catchy. Also, I’m part hick (my father is from North Dakota) so I’m culturally handicapped. Get off my back!

    Honestly, why do you people care what she does? Is it really any of your concern if she joins this whatever religion? As long as she still makes her amazing music then I could really care less what she is doing. I love P!nk. I love the hair, honestly. And I don’t hate the dress. P!nk stays true to herself, doesn’t try to be anyone, and doesn’t try to impress anyone. She’s pretty much a role model to me.

    Well I think Pink is very stylish, and mannish tendencies aside I think she looks quite hot.

    I have personally read Dianetics (the basic principles of Scientology as a belief system) and it’s absolutely up to you what you take away from it. It’s like any other self help book, some bits you agree with and utilise, some bits you don’t, so yes… do read it and see what it does for you.

    But know that the Church’ of Scientology, as a corporation that bears no resemblence to any ecclesiastic organisation with the interests of its members at heart, is an untrustworthy beast at best, and at worst has been attributed to the deaths of several Scientologists and Scientology critics over the past thirty odd years.

    Dianetics and the methods it preaches are another viewpoint and another way of seeing life. Fine, no problem. The so-called ‘Church’ is best avoided, as it does not operate without horrendous exploitation of its members.

    As a side note, I do not see the credibility of regarding the TV, Newspapers, and the Internet as useless sources of information. They are the sole methods whereby a normal person percieves national and international occurances… to demonize them over this one subject mocks the credibilty of EVERYTHING we observe via the media and ultimately weakens any pro-Scientology argument.

    My views aside, I hope that Pink does what’s right by her, afterall, she is a successful musician, and she is hot! Whatever you say xD

    I think its great she takes on a new religion. It always helps to have some good beliefs, and seeing some of the good things Scientology does in terms of drug-free campaigns and helping schools, I think its the right direction.

    Pink is not a “barbie airhead” and would be able to recognise bullshit. If she is now studying Scientology then that would be because she has checked it out for herself and decided to study it, so it must have some answers for her. Good luck to her I say, - anything that would help Pink to better her life is a good thing, - she is an awesome performer and deserves things in her life that help her ,and it looks like she feels Scientology is doing that for her so let her be!

    Most of you dont have a clue of what scientology is… On the other hand im glad that she “became” one as this is what scientology has as primary purpose - make able more able. Ofcourse if you are not very able it will help too. I’ve read Dianetics and not a newspaper report on dianetics. Buy it, read it, do it.

    Pink is not a Scientologist, nor is she interested in the religion. In a recent interview she did with Sway of The Hook (online interview show). This interview was taken on Sept. 28, 2008. She stated that she never was into Scientology and that she’s not a “pushover”. She then goes on to say she has friends who are into it, but she is not.
