Jessica Simpson continues to squash herself into the latest role Papa Simpson wants her to play—Chubby County Blonde Girl Next Door. But she’s totally okay with that! A pal told OK! Magazine,
“She’s done depriving herself and missing out on life just to fit into a size 2 jeans,” the friend says. “She doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with the way she looks.”
One of the reasons the singer is feeling more comfortable may have to do with a certain Dallas Cowboys quarterback! Jess’s boyfriend, Tony Romo, reportedly loves her curvier look and has encouraged her to not take life so seriously.
“Whether she’s catching one of Tony’s games, or just hanging out with him, she’ll throw back a couple of beers, eat some pizza and just have fun,” the singer’s friend says. “She is just in a different place than she used to be and her weight gain is a reflection of that.”
Sure, it’s all fine and good to start eating more and being happy with gaining weight until you find yourself at the bottom of an empty well with a cross-dressing murderer making you rub lotion on your skin. You don’t want the hose, do you?

Maybe all the homo’s out there will realize what a real girl’s body is supposed to look like for once and for all. Seems like a guy that wants a stick is looking for another kind of stick, ya get my drift.

I’d love it if all the girls in Hollywood were about a size 8. I find that most of the time, when I am looking at celebrity photos, I am just thinking “God, she needs to gain some weight!” The anorexic thing is disgusting looking. Bring back curves!!!!

I think she’s beautiful even with the weight gain. Doesn’t anyone even remember the reason she got all skinny and toned, was because of her diet an exercise plan for Dukes of Hazzard? I can’t stand how ppl constantly criticize weight gain. America is filled with tonnes of obese ppl, but target a skinny person as soon as they gain a little weight. Leave her and any one else who starts to look like the average person alone. I’m tired of Olson Twins look-a-likes who look like dishrags on a stick…

I have the same body type as Jessica. I am a size 2, short- 5′4 , large-breasted, muscular legs and I’ve been a size 8 before and people told me I was fat then too. My boyfriend then told me I was a fat pig, but I think I looked pretty good. I weighed 140. When I was a 0, I was too thin to even get life insurance they said I had to be at least 128 lbs to 165 lbs - yet that’s fat to half you guys, but healthy to the life insurance people. When I look good by Hollywood standards, I am unhealthy for life insurance standards - gee, you can’t please everyone! Jessica looks fine and she is happy and can eat what she wants without guilt - so lay off. I wish more and more women would gain a few lbs and make it chic to be a healthier, more realistic weight instead of being anorexic, toothpick thin! Go Jess - you look great! Go Kim Kardashian! - Go Queen Latifa and all you other perfectly fine women!! - change the standard - and this is coming from a skinny woman!
