Have you kids heard of this Twilight thing? I’m going to assume that you have, or that you’ve just woken from a coma within the last ten minutes. Anyway, another new Twilight promo came out:
Have you read these books? I read them because I’ve been reviewing them for Pajiba, and they’re pretty much the worst things to happen to my eyes since that time I had to give my grandmother a sponge bath. A drunk toddler with dyslexia and a broken Speak ‘n Spell could produce better books than this series. It’s taken me over a month to force myself to finish the third one, and I seriously don’t know if I have it in me to tackle the fourth. Of course, the infinite suckage won’t stop me from seeing the movie. It’s the primary reason I absolutely NEED to see the movie. I have high hopes that it will be so bad that I’ll actually pull at least three muscles and possibly crack a rib from convulsions of laughter.
There was some kind of Twilight sneak peak at the Rome IFF, and Kristen Stewart was there yesterday. These photos were labeled “Twilight Premiere” but they only showed 15 minutes of the film, so I think calling it a premiere is a bit of a stretch. Anyhow, the point here is that Kristen Stewart confuses my eyeholes. Sometimes she looks really pretty, and other times she looks like she just came off a bender and she stands around like a gazelle with vertigo that’s about to tip over. See what I’m talkin’ about?

I agree with every single word you have said. My friend had me check the book out, and I could not help but laugh. Im most definitely not seeing the movie, because the acting looks terrible from what I have seen. Twilight is NO Lost Boys, Harry Potter, or whatever the hell it is trying to be. Twilight=EPIC FAIL!!!!!

These books are not only an insult to good literature, they are nothing but a cash cow for Meyer. If I’m not mistaken, the first book was released in 05. 4 books and a film in 3 years? She must have winged the hell out them for releasing such large books in such little time.
Not to mention the Midnight Sun “leak” (read: publicity stunt.)
Also, ladies — you will never meet a man who resembles Edward Cullen. Ever. Stop being guileless and setting yourself up for disappointment.

I AGREE. Let us all take a moment to mourn literature. Twilight may just be the twilight of all that is good in the world of the written craft. TWILIGHT SUCKS. Get over it, people. It’s not worth all the hype. It didn’t even have an actual plot. And don’t ever, ever, ever, compare her to JK Rowling. Rowling did not write “literary” garbage. I don’t even want to acknowledge Twilight as part of literature. As for the movie? The book was torture enough. I don’t want a repeat experience. Just thinking about the fact that I let myself be influenced into reading it by squealing fan-girls makes me want to puke. Whoever played Bella must have a seriously strong stomach–that or a severe lack of taste in roles.

obviously shown by the fact that she was caught by photographers smoking pot, outside in the middle of the day. fucking moron.
on another note, casting paris hilton would have probably worked better for the role of Bella. i dont think even she could fuck it up more then Kristen did. she had absolutly no chemistry with Robert Pattinson. she acted like she hated him the entire time. the only thing right about her performance was that she looked like the description given in the novel. bella is described as an emotional girl, shes caring, and complicated, kristen didnt bring any of that. i was truly dissappointed by the movie. which sucks because i really loved the books. i wish they would recast her, anyone would do better, its just annoying to just have to watch her whine on screen. shes a fucking idiot the only talent she posses is being able to pick up the phone and call her dad and ask for auditions. i am seriously disappointed in Summit Entertainment and in Stephenie Meyer, i cant believe they would let something so atrocious ruin such a wonderful story.

FIrst of all without kristen bell this movie wouldn’t have been as good. same for rob patterson. the point is twilight is a horrible excuse for a fad! I work at a bookstore and the crap that get sold is overwhelming but twilight is by far the most dissapointing thing people by. stephanie meyer writes for 15 year olds. i mean really? its horrible. i read 145 pages (skipping paragraphs AND pages just to get it over with) decided the book was stupid but maybe the plot would be better in a movie, got the movie and wasted two years of my life. it was horrible, absolutely horrible. how can people find this entertaining. read wicked, get back to me. believe me…its better than that crap. if you read it and you are over the age of 15 you have to be stupid and illiterate. i got so bored with the simple writing i couldn’t finish it. i haven’t NOT finished a book since i was 13. uck. i can’t believe they pushed back harry potter for this shit??!!

I sacrificed myself and watched Twlight with my 14 year old daughter and was so bored and disgusted… how these two actors obtained this job I will never know. Kristen is just a bad actress all they way, were they desperate to get this girl to play Bella damn…..and Robert on TV he has his times when he looks Ok and you see him in person and yuk….especially on the MTV movie awards…both of them looked homeless and dirty and neither one of them looked like they were glad to be there and I didn’t mind watching him so much is just was her big buck teeth that bothered me so bad…girl needs a dentist and some acting lessons.

hahaha it sucks so much. holy balls dude whoever wrote this stuff needs to suck a tail pipe. what i dont understand is how it has captivated so many people. it seems just like american idol or any of those other low grade stupid morons fests. now i don’t mean to be scathing to anyone who genuinely likes it but here’s my question: do you girls really like it, really? Really really? Because all the girls where i’m from (ninety-percent i’m talking) read it because of the fad, not a true love of it. There’s nothing wrong with liking it intrinsically, but superficially, yes. You’re lying to those around you. Your obsession is fake and you’ve somehow convinced yourself that you like it. Trust me, very few people actually like. In ten years or so, probably less, it will disappear from everyone’s minds (unless this bitch keeps writing of course) just the way harry potter is going right now. it was good for about two minutes, ran its course, and is proceeding to die. FEAR not however for you girls who genuinely like it since a clone will be out in a few years that will replace it, just as it has harry potter and so on. Live in loving memory of how you helped to prove again how marketing and capitalism will continue to rule as long as people buy into fake simulated, pre-packaged,post-dated, vacuum-packed, freeze-dried bullshit.

actually I loved the books.
But I didnt know that untill I was half way through the first book. the writtin is very simple and it made me think that it was somethin I could have written myself.
But… the thuth is that I ended up fallin in love with the characters and the story.
I HATE the movie. It sucks, kristen stjbaba is the worse actris Iv ever seen. Rob I forgive cuz he´s hot (I dont kid myself bout his actin skills cuz I havent seen them yet)

It´s leaked on the internet so u can get it 4 free. its wronge but wharever. its not for sale. the story is same as twilight but from Edward´s point of view. it´s very different and more appealin if u consider twilight as a girly book u might like this one.
I agree with beebs, the movie is So lame. but jessica i think you should (try) to read the first. because I also fliped the pages and thought it was the most stupid book ever. I couldnt get through the first 50 pages. so.. it might be the same for you.
More than twilight I hate the twww fans. I mean I get where the prejudices againt the books came from. the obsessive twilight fans are retards. why cant they think for them selves?! . u dont have to like a movie because u like a book, or look the other way when the leadin actris (actris HA ha) behaves like a drug addict in public. PLEASE be a little demanding!!

The leak of Midnight Sun was win, since the cash cow (and I to mean a helluva COW…) Smeyer decided to give up on the book and whine all the way to the bank.
