Britney Makes Her Comeback at the Bambi Awards

It’s a Thanksgiving miracle! Britney Spears made her “comeback performance” at the Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf last night, performing “Womanizer” to a house packed full of Germans. Just how a country who considers David Hasselhoff a musical genius ended up hosting a music awards show remains a mystery to me. Frankly, if it doesn’t involve “Farfegnugen” or “The Final Solution to the Jewish Question,” Germans should probably just stay the hell out of it. Wiener schnitzel and have a great holiday weekend, snarkistas!

just a quick response. To be honest I have no idea how britney ended up making her “comeback” at the bambi awards. But from what I’ve heard no one was watching it anyway (and because I didn’t either I won’t say anything about her performance).
The funny thing about your post is that you seem to have slightly wrong picture of germany (admitted that can happen, as I have probably also a lot of wrong impressions about other nationalities). Luckily, though, we usually don’t consider David Hasselhoff a musical genius. I heard the name in your post for the first time in years – so thanks to you I now have those stupid songs in my head… damn.
I won’t really comment your statement about where we should stay out of. Okay, I will, but just a quick comment. For some time now Germany is a country very keen on staying out of things (at least that has been my experience in the last two decades, not that I always like it).
Oh, and just because this is one of your nice little catchy lines: the bambi award is actually not a music show, but a media award. Doesn’t make it better in any way, I give you that….
