Lumbering behemoth Russell Crowe used his giant gut to push Sienna Miller out of Ridley Scott’s new movie “Nottingham.” Page Six claims

Miller, who was to play Maid Marian, left the movie [on Friday] after being “put on hold” while shooting was pushed back from February to April.

An insider said, “Russell never lost the weight he put on for ‘Body of Evidence’ - and so the love scenes between him and Sienna would have been laughable. He’s so old and fat and she’s so young and gorgeous. It’s just . . . gross.”

Producers are “looking for an older, plumper actress to play the role so [Crowe] doesn’t look like a paunchy grandpa. Someone in her late 30s or early 40s.”

Candidates for the replacement Maid Marion are said to include Oscar-winner Kathy Bates, actress Camryn Manheim, and Whiskers the West Indian manatee.

    icky gossip… and untrue. Miller was fired, so she’s lashed out at Crowe, who has lost the weight he gained for Sir Ridley’s last film. He’s looking fine, and quite hunky these days.

    Mimi you are so right Russell looking good and is a very good actor, she is known for her photo,s in the papers and going out with married men. Sounds like sour grapes to me as she was over the moon when she got the part. Also already prancing around London’s Grouch Club with Cillian Murphy a married actor, whether friends or work mates at least at this moment in time she would keep a low profile where married men are concerned.

    Crowe is still an insecure, self concious dick. He tried to get Ridley Scott fired from his own movie behind his back (so much for the freindship) He got Sienna Miller fired as she was not happy doing love scenes with the Michelin Man and probably as she is a crap actress to boot.
    He’s not considered fit enough to take on the dual roles of the Sherrif or Robin Hood and will now possibly to be replaced (in one or both roles) by Aussie actor Steve Innes, another Ridley Scott pal who has not stabbed his friend in the back - yet.
    Does this mean Sienna Miller will come back?

    I wonder who is playing what now in this film?
    Crowe remains, but as the Sherrif or Robin, or both?
    Innes has left and won’t be playing King Richard and who will replace him?
    Blanchett will now play Marion, replacing MIller who left/was fired.
    Sam Riley’s and Christian Bale’s involvement ended up being just rumour.
    This thing has more twists than Fantasy Island.

    Steven Innes is a 40 year old actor from Perth who now lives in Melbourne.
    Not well known outside of OZ as he has been mostly involved in local TV and film and is probably best known in hometown Perth as radio announcer and writer than an actor.
    Innes is slated to be the next Mad Max when the 4th film of that franchise is finally made and coincidentally, may star alongside James MacAvoy in the Mel Gibson directed film called The Drowner, to be filmed in Western Australia in 2010 or 2011.
    He was also set to star alongside Vinnie Jones and Andie MacDowell in a film called Batavia’s Blood Temper Fury, also to be filmed on the West Coast but that film has been canned.
