Lily Allen Cutewatch ‘09: Lost in New York

Lily Allen in concert at LA's Wiltern Theatre, 2 April 2009

Since today is Friday it should be totally awesome and gorgeous, so I don’t know why it has such halitosis and varicose veins.  The most interesting things that have happened all day involved the spawning of a couple who hasn’t been famous in half a decade and the imaginary matrimonial shenanigans of a pretend couple who should never have been famous in the first place.  Furthermore, there haven’t been any new Lily Allen pictures in a WHOLE WEEK.

What the hell, Lily?  I know you’ve been busy with your super charming concert ticket scavenger hunts on Twitter (they even involve poems!) but this lack of photos is ridiculous.  I’m not sure what kind of road show you think I’m running here, but how am I supposed to conduct the Cutewatch without twee pictures of your adorable self?  I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I am putting your ass on notice.  I am officially pissed at you, and shall remain so until you return to cavorting in public where people can photograph you for my enjoyment.

Believe me, if there is any kind of obsession with Lily Allen it’s made up of people that don’t know anything about her. She has nothing to do with gossip blogs, a cute watch with her name, on it is harmless, but the stalking of paparazzi, and countless blogs, have absolutely no valid points to them.

Jimmy Kimmel could have done a better job. Not much research there! Lily Allen filed, and won, a restraining order, against 2 news agencies, in London that reads, the paparazzi have to keep they’re distance, and can not go near her house. The stories in the tabloids (mostly British) are no longer as exaggerated as they once were, and pale in comparison to the Lily Allen stories of last year. Kimmel didn’t even bother to watch, the Wiltern concert tape. The only plus, would be that Jimmy Kimmel assumed that she was in trouble, a lot. This gave her a chance to say, what do you mean, no not really. Lily Allen was good during the interview, it seemed like Kimmel didn’t care at all.
