Miss Homophobic California Got Fired
Tags: carrie prejean, donald trump, fired, miss california
It looks like raging hateration just isn’t as rewarding as it used to be — Miss California Carrie Prejean got fired. From TMZ:
We‘ve learned “biblically correct” Carrie Prejean will lose her Miss California USA crown today because she doesn’t play well with others.
Sources connected with the pageant tell us even Donald Trump has now had it with Carrie, because she’s violating her contract by not getting clearance to do her extracurricular stuff.
We’re also told Carrie has been a no-show for appearances she was supposed to make for the pageant organization.Trump told us Carrie refused to appear at around 30 events on behalf of Miss California USA. He says Prejean was contractually bound to appear and she just wouldn’t do it. He doesn’t think her attitude has anything to do with her politics.
Trump said: “To me she was the sweetest thing. Everyone else — she treated like s**t.”
Donald Trump is one of the biggest famewhores alive and would probably auction off his own children to a traveling circus if it garnered him any more attention or money, so this dumb bitch must’ve been unfathomably heinous to actually grate on his last nerve and make him get rid of her. I mean really, just HOW BADLY do you have to treat people for Donald fucking Trump to call you out on your jackassy behaviour?
Don’t feel too sorry for ol’ Carrie, though. She could probably get a job as a social secretary, maybe organising Klan rallies or some such thing.

Strange stance in your article. The girl is a Christian and went to a Christian academy. According to the bible homosexuality is wrong. The End. Like it or not the United States was founded as a Christian nation and she shares the majority of opinion with people, even in California it seems.
Why does this make her a white supremacist? It seems like you’re the one spouting hate, which is funny. It’s always the liberals that whine and complain so much they think their limited opinion is the one most commonly shared, when usually its the least. Not only was the whole snarkiness in the article anti-snarky, it came across as stupid and not entertaining.
Sorry, I usually love you guys here but this was just an epic fail.

I didn’t say anything about white supremacy, Jon. Hate groups (including groups like the KKK) don’t restrict their hatred to just one race or religion or any other subset of people. If you read up on the history of the Klan, you’ll find they’ve dedicated a fair amount of effort to persecuting the homosexual community, including — as just one example — demanding that all publicly acknowledged homosexuals be burned alive for “crimes against humanity”. The mention of the Klan in my closing statement was meant as hyperbole, which is a form of sarcasm… often also referred to as snark.
In any case, if you go back and re-read what I wrote, you’ll find that the actual focus of the piece was Prejean’s unprofessional, entitled behaviour and poor treatment of those around her, which was bad enough that she lost her job over it — bad enough, in fact, that Donald Trump (who is a gigantic asshole) said she treated people like shit. I mentioned her hatefulness in the opener as an intended juxtaposition of both her history of prejudice and her treatment of others in her professional capacity.
She is, of course, entitled to hold whichever prejudices she may choose, be they based in religion or otherwise. Simply because it is her right to hold such views, however, makes them no less hateful. It’s unfortunate if our disagreement on that point upsets you, but I’m afraid I can only apologise for the fact that my intended message apparently got lost in my inability to properly communicate it.

You’re certainly hard on her for holding the same views about marriage as President Obama.

So wait… someone who believes that something is wrong is hateful? Why aren’t people who think murder is wrong called out as “hateful”? Why aren’t people who think eating meat is wrong called out as “hateful”? Are people who think it’s wrong to do testing on animals hateful? What about the people who thought that George W. Bush was wrong and stupid… why aren’t they called out as “hateful”? What about people who think that Christians are wrong or that think they are morons? Hateful?
Why is it that everyone who has issues with gays or Muslims is immediately called a racist. Being gay is a sexual issue, not a race issue. Being Muslim is a religious thing, not a race thing.
Seems to me that people who are so quick to judge and to call others hateful or racists are not very bright and quite hypocritical (isn’t that why you don’t like Christians… because you think they’re quick to judge?).
Oh wait, I forgot. It’s not about being logical. It’s about shutting down opposition. Hate and racism are one way avenues… only those that disagree with you are ever guilty of it. If you’re a Democrat, then you’re friends who hate Republicans aren’t actually hateful. They are smart. It’s the Republicans who are hateful. It’s a double-standard and only you get to apply it… you are the judge and jury.
That’s just crazy. The only people I know that truly try to rid themselves of hate and love all kinds of other people (even gays) are the Christians that I know.
I tried to be a Conservative… too much hate. I tried to be a Liberal… too much hate there, too. So I’m neither. Now I’m trying to be a Logical Common Sense-ist… and, man… it’s really hard to be that way on the internet where everything is so polar.

Equality for Gays is mostly a matter of an exclusive club trying to keep their doors shut, for their own reasons. The other side wants the club to be open to all, for their own reasons.
No matter how you slice it, it’s about one group dictating what is acceptable to the other. Gays do not want to change the rights of straight people, or to change what they believe. They just want some rights too.
Argue against it all you want, it’s still a hateful thing to deny people who love each other and are willing to commit to each other exclusively. You’d think that this would at least be considered the ‘best kind of gay’, you know?

I don’t think it’s hateful for the people who started the club to not want their club to change drastically from its original design and purpose. I mean, marriage in the Western world is based on Christian biblical marriage. Why would anyone who’s not a Christian want to participate in that? I don’t. I’ll take my common law/civic responsibilities and benefits and be on my way, thank you very much. And homosexuals have gotten those rights (at least in most all American states). Hetero or Homo… can all have the same rights when it comes to issues of what civic government considers your legally recognized significant other.
So I don’t get it. The only reason I see for homosexuals wanting to get “married” is to fuck with Christians… and that’s hateful.

It’s interesting that some people who share the same ideals as the article proved me right and spewed hate at me personally. Re-read what I wrote. I don’t even give my opinion on the issue. My entire first paragraph has no opinion whatsoever after I state its an interesting stance, just fact. I comment on the writing of the thing, saying it wasn’t funny and liberals like to whine. I just analyze the article. I even wrote why it wasn’t funny as the basis of the first paragraph. The girl is a one trick pony, you already know the punchline, the conclusion is certain so the article is not funny. Sarah even reversed the pre-disposition that Carrie Prejean was hateful when she spewed more hate then Prejean ever did and I said it was funny. Except I didn’t mean ha ha funny. Other then that the only thing you got about me personally is that I’m likely not a liberal.
Sarah hit the nail on the head in her long winded response with “I’m afraid I can only apologise for the fact that my intended message apparently got lost in my inability to properly communicate it.”
Yup, I still like you Sarah, you just wrote a shitty article.
Thanks to the rest of you for a big laugh at how foolish you all are…lol

Dude
Hopefully this is the last we’ll hear about CP. If her 15 minutes are up, isn’t it time for her to start fading into obscurity, or at least Penthouse Mag covers? http://www.newsy.com/videos/miss_california_no_more

Think, people
Does no one have the ability to see what’s going on here?
A public figure is asked what they think of gay marriage, usually by a worthless no-talent idiot Perez Hilton. Naaahhh, no agenda there, just unbiased reporting, right? The MAJORITY of Americans (as evidenced by the consistent voting record in every state) oppose gay marriage, so of course there will sometimes be celebs who say they oppose it.
And what’s the typical response? RARRGGHH!! HOMOPHOBE!! BIGOT!!! BLEAAAHHHH!!
First of all, “homophobe” is a made-up word to assign negativity to a view which has been shared by nearly all people, in nearly all societies, throughout all history. Every time you use it, you might as well be saying “I’ve been suckered into a PR campaign!” Google the book “After the Ball”, learn exactly how planned-out this PR campaign has been, and maybe you can be informed instead of just opinionated.
Secondly, even those who disagree with a person’s opposition to gay marriage should try a little harder to PRETEND to have that holy grail of all qualities, tolerance. Liberals seem to only be tolerant as long as people agree with them, which really isn’t tolerance at all, leaving you with no valid criticism whatsoever of people like CP.
Pray tell, if you hate her because of what you perceive as intolerance, and you respond with intolerance, then why should anyone respect you any more than her?
THINK, fools.

…and STILL no one has given a valid reason to be against gay marriage…
I don’t know why I’m surprised, you’d think I’d be used to it by now. After all, there isn’t one.
