I totally thought this was going to be about someone else bashing Jessica Simpson’s intelligence (or lack, thereof). No, this is real. Digital Spy says,
Jessica Simpson has revealed that she was recently offered a brain sandwich for a snack.
The 29-year-old, who was filming new TV show The Price Of Beauty in Morocco, said that she declined the local delicacy.
Speaking to OK about the shoot, she said: “We definitely had our moments. Somebody threw a bun in front of me, and I was supposed to make a brain sandwich. You know, that’s not really something I want to partake in!”
The actress and singer added that she loved the country, saying: “The women there are incredible. She stays covered to keep herself for her man, so everything is through her eyes.
“When somebody can carry themselves very confident, sexy, all-knowing, and be completely covered, it’s all about what’s inside of them. It’s about what you define as beautiful. I love Morocco.”
Yes, leave it to Jessica to praise women being oppressed. I’m sure she’d find women getting beaten or killed for being raped or being considered worth less than men not so romantic. Nothing says “I love you”
like a good old fashioned flogging! Here’s a suggestion: Next time, eat the brain sandwich. It wouldn’t hurt to try.

Well...
It may or may not be true that the women of Morocco equate not-showing-flesh with oppression. Perhaps they feel the same way about it as Jessica described, and are proud to save every bit of themselves for their future husbands. Obviously it’s extreme to us, but can it really be argued that having Miley Cyrus teaching tweens how to pole-dance is better? Are we really better off having a common homewrecker like Angelina Jolie as a role model for our young women? There are far worse ideals to strive for than modesty.

The way I see it, a confident woman does not need to flaunt her skin in order to prove her beauty. I believe that the person who puts on less clothing is the desperate insecure individual who is seeking attention in order to boost her self confidence. Besides women who cover in morocco are not oppressed, its part of a Moroccan tradition that women retain their femininity as one author said a woman who seizes to blush had lost her beauty.
Im a Moroccan woman my self, and I m proud of the wonderful culture we have, not to mention I love how Moroccan women kept their sensual femininity not to mention been so confident and loving your self which is why we would rather keep our men guessing what our bodies may look a like than to actual show it to every single one of them every time we leave our house

If covering your body and saving it for your husbands eyes only makes me oppressed in the eyes of the world, So be it. Covering is about modesty and self respect and also love for God.
The oppressed here is the one who praise nude and plastic surgeries, and the expensive fashion clothes to be accepted…
