Jewel has never had any integrity to lose. Her folkie thing was just one of many poses which has included bubblegum teenie pop, and now “country”. She’s never had a sound or identity for longer than a year or two, making her about as relevant musically as Jessica Simpson (who also pushed the “I don’t use my tits” thing for the first 5 minutes of her career). At least Shakira (whose singing is as bad as Jewel’s) has never tried to hide the fact that the only thing she has to offer is her body.
All that said….. HOORAY FOR BOOBIES!
