Kirstie Alley’s Weight Loss Company is a Scientology Front

I didn’t report on the whole “Kirstie Alley’s new weight loss company being a front for Scientology” thing yesterday because Kirstie Alley is fat and disgusting and nobody likes her, but it’s getting so much attention today that my hand is being forced. If you don’t feel like reading it, you can always click on the ads in the sidebar and purchase things from our sponsors. All the cool kids are doing it! Page Six says

Kirstie Alley has attacked the Hollywood Reporter’s Roger Friedman and NBC’s “Today” show for reporting allegations of a link between her Organic Liaison weight-loss system and the Church of Scientology, of which she’s a member.

After Friedman wrote that several Organic Liaison advisers have strong Scientology connections and that the company’s corporate headquarters is in the same building as the World of Scientology, Alley [tweeted], “Robert Friedman spreading lies about me and my new business. Going to have Mr. Attorney call Mr. Friedman’s Attorney tomorrow . . . Mr. Friedman is treading on thin LIBELOUS ice with my company. Crackkkk”

Alley also lashed out at the “Today” show Tuesday morning when Meredith Vieira asked her about her company’s alleged ties to Scientology, [calling] the claims “bull[shit]” on-air.

I’m sorry, I wasn’t listening. I was too busy looking at Kirstie Alley’s big fat piehole up there. It looks like it’s about the same circumference as a jelly-filled doughnut. Coincidence, or merely the byproduct of the forces of natural selection acting on a phenotype in an phenomenon known as “Survival of the Fattest?” Ha ha, the much-feared-but-rarely-ever-witnessed Darwinian Evolution Theory burn! See, knowledge is power!

Watch the Today Show interview after the jump.

If $cientology was made you so strong, you’d think you wouldn’t become a fatty in the first place.
