Lindsay Lohan in Vanity Fair Italia

You might remember that Lindsay Lohan posed for these pics for Italian Vanity Fair at her Venice beach house while she was still under house arrest, so of course she has some choice gems for the American penal system in the magazine’s accompanying interview. The Daily Mail says:
Lindsay says she believes she was treated too harshly for her misdemeanors and should never have been jailed for violating probation after her 2007 DUI conviction.
Lindsay [said]: ‘Unless you’re a killer, I don’t see a reason to stay there. I never hurt anyone but myself.’
Did you catch that? “Unless you’re a killer,” you shouldn’t be in jail. So rapists, pedophiles and thieves should be free to roam the streets, pilfering and plundering and raping as they please. Sounds an awful lot like Detroit if you ask me.
