Lindsay Lohan is “Too Poor” to Afford Counseling

Lindsay Lohan left her multi-million dollar home yesterday with $5,000 worth of extensions in her hair and a pair of $1200 shoes on her feet to go and tell an L.A. judge that she hadn’t started her court-ordered counseling because she was too poor to pay for it. Ha, ha — irony! Radar Online says:
[Lohan's] attorney Shawn Holley informed the court that Lindsay had not yet started her psychological counseling because she could not afford it… because her SAG insurance had lapsed.
City Attorney Melanie Chavira said that she found it hard to believe that the Hollywood star could not afford to pay for counseling.
She asked Lindsay if she had anyone who had a credit card who would be able to stump up the cash for her court-mandated sessions. Lindsay consulted with her lawyer who then told the Judge that it “would not be a problem” for her to get the money together.
She said if Lindsay does not provide proof by August 11 that she has started individual counseling, she would revoke her probation.
I like that the judge specified that the funds should be solicited from “someone with a credit card.” Just in case Lindsay didn’t realize that she couldn’t pay for counseling with food stamps and cigarettes.

She can afford got go out to the most expensive watering holes in the LA area but can’t afford insurance or counseling? This women is a travesty but on the upside she won’t probably won’t be coming to a theater near you anytime soon!
