Unretouched photographs of Madonna topless in a hotel room taken during a December 2008 shoot for W Magazine leaked online yesterday, and Madonna has been frantically unleashing her attorneys to snatch them up as quickly as they appear (click on the header to see the only one I could still currently find). The Daily Mail says:
The unflattering shots [show] the 53-year-old singer – then aged 50 – in a series of unladylike positions wearing a see-through bra and a black thong.
In one she is sat with her legs apart while slumped on the sofa in her underwear.
The blonde wig she was wearing is off-center.
In another shot, Madge is seen topless facing a mirror as she changes into an outfit.
Three months after the shoot, fashion bible W Magazine published a 46-page spread of rather more flattering, touched-up photographs of the singer in its March 2009 edition.
I’m not too bummed about not finding the rest of the pics because frankly, I don’t want to get an eyeful of Madonna’s leathery old bat cave. If I’m staring down into the gaping maw of hell, it better be because it’s Judgement Day and the rapture is nigh, not because I voluntarily looked at pictures of an old person’s puss.

Okay okay! so she is not a nubile young goddess but damn, at 53 she has a better body than most women at 25… remember kiddies, she was CHANGING costumes for the shoot so, unfortunately, she had to remove her clothes. Remember, she didn’t WANT these pictures to come out, so please don’t tell her to keep her clothes on! She already knows that. And you let me know one person out there that after having taken a few pictures with their Iphone doesn’t delete the ugly ones! We all want people to see us at our best. Time for all of us to take a looong hard look in a full length mirror!!!

Mariah, Whitney, Cyndi, Celine, Alanis, Gwen, Fergie, Britney, Rihanna, Shania, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry don’t come close in longevity, concert performances, dance, awards, videos, just behind Barbra Streisand in total albums sold 64 million, 300 million records sold, the world’s top-selling female recording artist of all time, 75 radio singles, 37 Top 10 singles, more than any other artist in recording history, body of work including movies like Evita, Truth or Dare and Desperately Seeking Susan to name a few, the most successful solo artist in the history of the Billboard chart, the Beatles most successful group, unprecedented $120 million contract with Live Nation, one of the 25 most powerful women of the past century according to Time magazine, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, children’s books, influenced fashion, Material girl, Boy Toy, underwear on outside of clothing, created fashion line, sex appeal, ever changing persona, intelligence and controversy. Only Michael had more controversy.
If you watch Beyonce in concert, she is a queen in waiting, unbelievable voice and she dances too. Lady Gaga has a long way to go. Her current album isn’t doing as well as expected. Will anyone care what she is wearing in 30 years? Maybe, if she follows a path set by, Madonna, but I think it’s too much too soon. But Lady M, can do anything she wants and has been doing it long before the current crop of female singers. Every concert is better than the last. Nobody puts on a better show, dare I say, not even Michael, who I love. Rent M’s concert DVD’s, I’m telling you! Truth or Dare, the first concert movie experience, since the Beatles. It was the first reality show or movie, now everywhere on TV. Even Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never owes Madonna. Her music is the key, more radio hits than anyone, since Holiday and Like a Virgin. Leading in number ones, just behind Mariah, the Beatles and Elvis. Tina Turner, Cher, and Aretha have had a few radio hits, but nothing close to your Madgesty.
Why should she stop pushing the envelope just because she’s 53? She looks incredible, for any age. I’ve been waiting for her to do the Super bowl and the time has finally come. I can’t wait for her next album and concert, having seen her live 5 times already. She is beautiful, inside and out. When you bash strong, powerful women, you put down your moms, sisters and loved ones. Madonna has done so many good things, musically, as well as philanthropically. Just enjoy the music, and rent those concert DVD’s!!!
