Meg Ryan Changes Her Daughter’s Name
Meg Ryan changed the name of her adopted baby daughter because she doesn’t look like a Charlotte. Meg gave her the name of Charlotte when she picked her up in China late last year but now she’s decided her daughter doesn’t fit that name. She told Oprah:
“I already had to change her name because there she is, just about a year old, and I thought she was Charlotte and she’s just not - she’s a Daisy.”
There is no doubt this poor baby will later suffer from schizophrenia. But it could have been worse, because if Meg had followed Hollywood’s trend of naming a baby after an aliment, her daughter would probably have been named “Stuffed Rice Balls”.
