Fergie Hearts Crystal Meth
Fergie of Black Eyed Peas fame hasn’t always just been “high on life.” She tells Time magazine that she spent a good part of her life juiced out of her gourd on crystal meth.
“It was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with,” she says. “I dug deep as to why I got there. It’s the drug that’s addicting. But it’s why you start doing it in the first place that’s interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor; I learned to suppress feelings.”
All this time I had presumed that Fergie was one of those goverment-sanctioned genetic experiments that went horribly awry and managed to escape its birthing pod without being recaptured. Or that her gender reassignment was performed by a retired mortician with Parkinson’s and a lazy eye. I can’t tell you how relieved I was to discover that it was only a crippling addiction to cyrstal meth.

I am SO fucking glad that Fergie was on the cover of my Shape (fitness magazine) this month. What a wonderful role model for all of us athletes and people trying to get in shape! Fat? No worries! Just do meth for a half decade, clean up for a month or so, do a few crunches and we’ll put you on the fucking cover of a fitness magazine!

You obviously have never been addicting to meth or speed because anyone who has would understand the EXTREME difficulty of kicking the habit. Sure go ahead and makes jokes about it, but Crystal Meth is the MOST addicting drug out there. And for Fergie to actually beat the dooming odds of recovery, I give her mad props for surviving through the hell that becomes your life.
She’s been on the entertainment scene since childhood and I feel she deserves her well earned time in the spotlight. Why people love to hate her is completely unknown to me. I just hope that after Fergie wades through the seemlingly endless “Fergie Hater” blogs, that she knows there ARE people that fully understand the depth, complexity, and sadness of an addiction. She should be proud of her accomplishments and know she serves as an inspiration to some people like myself.

Dude, You guys that are hatin are just fucking jealous. I never really liked her either. I actually like her more now that I have heard of the addiction. It shows that she is a real person that has gone through her own personal struggles. Those of you talkin smack, I understand that meth is a nasty drug, but did it ever occur to you that maybe she was young, dumb and having fun. It turned into something bigger. There are people out there that are addicted to many things, sex, oxycontin, marijuana……….they are no better. Some good successful people are addicts to something. I am . Before you start talikn shit try to live in the shoes of an addict. It doesn’t start that way and then it just takes you over. It’s fucked and to get through it would be the best achievment ever for some people. So fuck off you dumb fat bitches that are just jelous because she’s hotter than you.

All she shows kids is…”hey don’t do drugs because it will mess you up like me”…but they hear ” hey, it;s okay if you try them because if you get addicted you can overcome it like i did and you’ll still be rich and beautiful”.

I want you to all go back and read what you all wrote. It’s horrible. Not everyone is the same. She never said it was okay to do them. People get caught up in wrong situations at the wrong times. Everyone has hard times in their lives and find ways to get the stress out. Sometimes people make the wrong choices. EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES. Why be so judgemental and mean? Are you jealous? Hahaha I think its pretty safe to say you are better off being addicted to sex or marijuana than Meth, anyway virtually nobody gets addicted to Marijuana its pretty low on the addictiveness rating.
As for Fergie I’m kinda split, On one hand I respect her for being strong enough to quit a drug which is one of the hardest if not the hardest to quit but on the other hand she was a complete retard for doing it in the first place, its kinda like praising someone because they stopped hitting their head off the wall.
I guess the two things kinda cancel each other out

I have done a lot of drugs…partied pretty hard and seen a lot of friends die of overdoses. Some people know how to manage themselves better and some people have very addictive personalities and spiral out of control. LCD, X, PCP….this is your solution to doing non-addictive drugs. I hope that I am not the first to tell you this but you are a fucking idiot! There is no really good drug and they all affect people differently. How about you all be thankful that there is one less person addicted to drugs who could potentially kill themselves or you as they drive down the road paranoid that someone is chasing them. How about you step outside of your bubble for one second and look at the bigger picture in what she was trying to say…very few people are able to kick the drug and if they do very few have a successful life.
