Katie Holmes Says No to Oscar
Katie Holmes passed on an Oscar bid last week, despite the critical acclaim garnered by her latest movie, “Thank You for Smoking.” Page Six reports:
Sources close to soon-to-be Mrs. Tom Cruise say Fox Searchlight Pictures wanted to include [Katie's] name for a possible Oscar nod on the screener of “Thank You for Smoking” sent to Academy members - but Holmes’ camp “respectfully declined” the offer.
Sweet holy Moses. It’s one thing to turn down great movie roles, but passing on an Oscar nomination is just fucking stupid. Really, I saw “Batman Begins,” and she almost ruined the movie. She was awful. Beyond “miscast.” I never could have imagined her as an Oscar contender after that debacle, and I certainly don’t foresee Academy gold in her future, and yet she’s just going to stand blankly on the sidelines, smiling vapidly with that stubby little gay clinging to her arm, and flush what little career she had straight down the crapper. Brilliant. Well, there you go, Katie. “Dawson’s Creek” is now your screen legacy. That ought to rank right up there with “Saved by the Bell” and “Hey Dude” for future generations of avid crap-watchers.

Yea, and according to the Scientology vows, all he has to do is promise her a “cat and a comb” (not to be confused with a catacomb, or perhaps, metaphorically, it is.)
And she has to promise him to keep him happy through a life of “fret and pain”. Which is going to be NO PROBLEM once she wakes up and realizes she’s given up her one chance at an Oscar.

I don’t get Yeeeahs server. When you try to link a 2 word, word from either Dictionary.com or UrbanDictionary.com, only the first word shows up upon clicking the link. Making the poster look more like a douchebag than he already is.
