Amy Winehouse Is In Rehab

Amy Winehouse spent a whopping two hours in rehab yesterday after footage of her getting all kinds of fucked up surfaced on the internet. According to the Daily Mail

With her father Mitch, the 24-year-old arrived at Edward House private rehabilitation clinic in the North-West of the capital at 4.45pm, staying for just over two hours. Her spokesman said it was a regular weekly appointment which was part of her continuing treatment for drug addiction.

Amy is [also] facing a police probe. A copy of the film was handed over… to Tower Hamlets detectives who are now analyzing it “to ascertain whether any [legal] action needs to be taken.”

Two whole hours in rehab once every seven days for ingesting three class A drugs within the space of twenty minutes. That’s like trying to put out a forest fire by spitting on it. Or peeing on it. Or, in Amy’s case, barfing on it. And while we’re on the subject of spit and pee, I’m sure the British legal system will be doing everything in its power to make sure Amy’s brought to justice. Really, if Pete Doherty’s any indication, Amy has a hard road of accountability ahead of her. Provided “accountability” still means “pee here, please.”
