In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, John Mayer reveals that he was hurt and bewildered by the country ballad Taylor Swift wrote about him after they broke up. Almost as hurt and bewildered as I was by the success of “You’re Body is a Wonderland.” Radar Online says:
The 34-year-old Daughters singer told the magazine: “I was really caught off-guard, and [the song] really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you’ve ever been, someone kicked you even lower?”
“I never did anything to deserve that,” he said. “It was a really lousy thing for her to do.”
“I know she’s the biggest thing in the world, and I’m not trying to sink anybody’s ship, but I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait till he gets a load of this!’ — that’s bullshit,” said Mayer, adding he “never got an e-mail … [or] a phone call” about the song in advance.
I’m sure he could have talked about Taylor Swift and his sad feelings a lot longer if he hadn’t had to keep getting up to change his tampon. His cycle’s been all out-of-whack lately.

Mayer isn’t half the douchebag that Ashton Kutcher is.
Not even close.
