Lindsay Lohan hit up the evening wear section of the Frederick’s of Hollywood catalog for the premiere of her new Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” last night, and if the dress weren’t bad enough, the movie is even worse than expected. The Daily Mail says:

The Hollywood Reporter critic Tim Goodman likened Lohan’s performance “half train wreck, half SNL skit” in his scathing recent review, [saying] the film was “spectacularly bad.”

“Lohan is woeful as Taylor from start to finish,” [says Goodman], “but whatever you do, don’t miss Liz & Dick. It’s an instant classic of unintentional hilarity. Drinking games were made for movies like this. It [actually] gets worse as it goes on… by the time Lohan is playing mid-’80s Taylor, your body may be cramped by convulsions.”

But back to the dress. Oh, the dress. I guess you don’t need “fittings” or “stylists” or “a bra” when you’ve got Carole Lombard’s nightgown and a good pair of pinking shears.
