Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to wear a SCRAM bracelet after her hearing today with Judge Marsha Revel. SCRAM bracelets are electronic devices worn around the ankle to monitor alcohol use by criminal defendants, probationers, or parolees. The bracelet can detect traces of alcohol thorough the wearer’s perspiration. The actress was ordered to appear after missing a mandatory hearing for failling to complete alcohol education classes imposed for a 2007 DUI case. Lindsay missed last week’s hearing after her passport was allegedly stolen from her hotel room whilst she was in the French resort of Cannes publicising her Linda Lovelace biopic. Judge Marsha Revel also ordered Lohan to attend one alcohol education course a week aside from wearing a SCRAM bracelet, as well as refraining from drinking alcohol and undergoing random drug testing.
