Hi guys, it’s Sarah.  Abby got a little sidelined by a mechanic and they’re probably gonna be tied up for the rest of the day, so y’all are stuck with me again.  Don’t fret, though; Abby will be back next week.

In the meantime, here are some adorable pictures of Alyson Hannigan and her husband Alexis Denisof out shopping with baby Satyana.  They’re all so sweet I’m pretty sure you could get Diabetes if you look at them for too long.  They’re just so happy!  People this delighted by everyday life make me halfway suspect they’re really aliens disguised in human husks or something.

The baby might be a weapon of infinite power beyond our meager human understanding:

Super cute Alyson Hannigan, who has been pregnant for approximately 26 months, finally had her baby last week.  Her rep told People today:

It’s a girl – and she shares her birthday with her mom!

How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, who kept the gender of their baby a secret during pregnancy, have welcomed a daughter, her rep tells PEOPLE.

The girl is named Satyana Denisof and was born March 24 in Los Angeles, which also happens to be Hannigan’s birthday. “They’re very excited, and mom and baby are doing great,” says the rep.

This kid’s parents are both pretty effing adorable, so who knows if science will even be able to quantify the cuteness of this thing they created.  It might even herald a New World Order.  We can only hope it uses its powers for good instead of evil.  It might not hurt to sacrifice a Care Bear or something in its honour, just in case.  I don’t think we want it to get angry.

Allow me to put all of my usual hate and venom aside for just a moment to say that I absolutely adore Alyson Hannigan. I really, honestly do. I think she’s gorgeous and seems like a genuinely nice, down to Earth actress. Which is why it pains me incredibly to bring you these photos of her at the CBS season premiere party earlier this week dressed like a huge ass. Really, Alyson? The Cleopatra bangs and heavy eyeliner? Has anyone ever successfully pulled off that look?

And then the outfit — well fucking Christ I don’t even know where to begin. The dress — or whatever you want to call it — with the big plastic opaque rhinestones? Was it arts and crafts day down at the retard center? The dark nail polish and the heavy gold accessories? And then let’s just slap some knee high boots to tie the whole thing together, because why the fuck not? It sounds like somebody is getting a little big for her britches, and needs to go back and watch old episodes of “Buffy” to remember where she came from.
