One of my best friends from high school is at Coachella and actually got to see hologram Tupac perform with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg in person. It may be the coolest motherfucking thing I have ever seen… albeit second-hand, on a slightly grainy video. In case you were wondering, she’s also prettier and smarter than me, too.

Nina Dobrev at Coachella just because:

Even though she was too sad about her failed marriage to show up, Katy Perry was still the big winner at the 38th annual People’s Choice Awards last night. It still doesn’t explain why Demi Lovato’s wearing a lounge singer’s bejeweled quinceanera dress, but we’ll get to that in a minute. People Magazine says:

Perry was honored in five categories, as favorite female artist, tour headliner and for song of the year for “ET” with Kanye West, music video for “Last Friday Night” and TV guest star for How I Met Your Mother.

Among the other winners in the 43 categories, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 took four awards – favorite movie, action movie, book adaptation and ensemble movie cast, although no stars from the film attended.

Other honorees included Ellen DeGeneres, Lea Michele and Demi Lovato, as well as favorite movie actress and actor Emma Stone and Johnny Depp.

I’m glad to see the tailor outside Castle Greyskull is still cranking out those built-in-breast-plate dresses so popular with the ladies on Eternia. This is why She-Ra’s dumpy overweight sister never made it into the cartoon.

“Modern Family” was the big winner at last night’s 63rd Annual Emmy Awards (click here for a complete list of winners and nominees), taking home the awards for Best Comedy, Best Supporting Actress (Julie Bowen), Best Supporting Actor (Ty Burrell), Best Director and Best Writing in the comedy category. What you may not know is that I also took home several awards last night, including Best Who Gives a Shit, Best What in Holy Hell is Happening with Christina Hendrick’s Tits, and Outstanding Roach Clip Dexterity. And I didn’t even have to dress up.

Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora is checking into rehab for the second time in five years. Radar Online says:

Sambora is checking into a facility for exhaustion and to regain his sobriety.

The guitar player spent a month at Cirque Lodge in Utah in 2007. That was after the traumatic break-up of his marriage to Heather Locklear and his split from girlfriend Denise Richards the same month his father died of lung cancer.

”Richie recently has been drinking too much, and wants to get his life together,” a source [said] exclusively, adding that the band has been very supportive of the rehab decision.

Well, I hope it takes. It’d probably be nice for him to be able to put on a suit without hearing the words “will the defendant please rise.”

Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev in Seventeen Magazine, because Richie Sambora is old and unattractive:

The “stars” — and I use that term loosely — of the new CW show “The Vampire Diaries” were arrested last month for flashing motorists off of an I-75 overpass. The NY Post says

The undead stars don’t just suck blood and turn into bats — they also flash people from overpasses in a small town in Georgia.

“The four actresses from the show were out just doing some stunt pictures, but because of the way they were acting and carrying on on the bridge, we had quite a few 911 calls,” a spokeswoman for the Monroe County, Ga., Sheriff’s Office [said].

The cops arrested the photographer, along with actresses Nina Dobrev, 20, Sara Canning, 22, Kayla Ewell, 24, and Candice Accola, 22, for disorderly conduct. They were released after paying $4,000 in fines.

Well, last time I checked, “CW” didn’t stand for “classy women.” I’m pretty sure it stands for “crap weasel.” Then it all makes sense.
