Kathie Lee Gifford confirmed on the Today Show yesterday that reports that country music star Taylor Swift showed up uninvited to the wedding of Kyle Kennedy were 100% true, because Kathie Lee was there at the wedding and saw the whole thing happen (look for Taylor to write song about being betrayed by Kathie Lee on her next album). According to the Daily Mail:

“I was just a guest at that wedding. [Kyle] is actually my granddaughter by marriage,” Gifford explained.

“The truth is, [the bride's mother's] account is accurate,” she went on, explaining the singer and [her 18-year-old boyfriend Connor Kennedy] were asked to leave twice.

But giving the Grammy winner some credit, she added that she did eventually leave.

I’m no stranger to being asked to leave a wedding. It’s called “open bar.” Now, what they should have done is grab Taylor by the shoulders, slap her across the face and yell, “For God’s sake woman, pull your dress back up and get out of the fountain, you’re embarrassing the family!” There’s really no room for misinterpretation there.
